When I was 12 years old I passed out in school. I hit my head off a chalk board and the floor and when I came to, the teacher had put a bookbag under my head then asked me to walk to the nurse. I suppose I said yes, but I was unable to walk far before I fell to my knees again in the hallway (on the way to the nurse). So I just layed there till the nurse came to me. I wasn't going to attempt the stairs. Another teacher opened his door and saw me laying there but just went into his class, shutting his door. I know me fainting has nothing to do with them but how they handled the situation I think was very wrong for a school district. And also, they had no record of me fainting when we asked about it for doctors. Does anyone know what I could do about this, if anything, now that I'm 18? I didn't want my parents to make something of it while I was in school with all my friends back then, but now I realized we should have done something. Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated!

I'm doing a project for class that involves an imaginary student whose family is Catholic. The student is doing poorly and I have to create a lesson plan. I was thinking the bible would a good way to involve the child's family in the childs education. Of course this is an individual lesson plan. Does anyone know the law regarding this type of thing? Is this something that can be done?

So I'm doing a report on the 18th Amendment that was later repealed but I looked it up on the internet and it said the last state required for ratification was Wyoming.

http://members.tripod.com/bcq/eighteenth_amendment.html

And incase you don't look at the link above it said that date was Jan. 16 1919. But then there is for states after it that all have a later date then that. Did I miss something? I'm really confused! If I missed something could you explain it to me please. I can do all the other research but I don't understand this one. If you have any other facts though it'd be appreciated; but I'll settle for you just answering my question. Ü Please and Thank you!

I need to write a 12 page paper on something related to the supreme court and the right to privacy or abortion. I need to argue something. What should I write it about.

The thesis should be something regarding the legality or something along those lines.

I am not looking for something like writing a paper that is pro choice or pro life but more something questioning a court case or opinion or something along those lines.

anyone have any ideas?

it can argue anything but the class is gender and law

thanks for your help

I think they should pay every cent and the manager should also be sent to jail.

She was the girl who was stripped naked, forced to be cavity searched, perform oral sex, do jumping jacks, etc... because someone on the phone said they were the police and told the manager to do this to the girl.

As it turned out, it was a crank caller.

I grew up hearing cops talk (and sometimes laugh) about planting evidence or lying under oath in court. A couple of times, waiting for my mom to get off work. Hearing judges and prosecutors rehearsing a witness. The judge saying "no, you can't say that like that in my court room. You have to say..."

An MP who wanted to get a guy shipped back to CONUS so he could sleep with the guys wife, showed me how he manipulated the results of a breathalyzer test to get the guy busted for DWI.

I didn't realize the implications of what I was being asked to do at the time. But the MI unit my wife was assigned to asked me to perform tasks that resulted in a civilian having in their possession something that would suggest they were guilty of a crime.

The governor of the state of illinois felt the judicial system so flawed. He commuted the entire death row to life sentences.

Google Frank Lee Smith and read that. I don't think I could convict anyone. I wouldn't believe the evidence.

If Im caught stealing a CD from the store, odds are I will recieve a minimal fine or even simply pay for the CD. Internet piracy carries a penalty of thousands of dollars per song downloaded, which is obviously more signifigant than stealing a hard copy.

Why the huge difference in penalties?

Are you free to write new lyrics for classical instrumental works by such dead composers like Mozart or Bach? I mean, since their copyright has expired, you can perform their works for free. But are you allowed to write new lyrics to transform some of their works into a new song?

I have been divorced from the father of my children for 3(GLORIOUS) years. For the first year, it was like pulling teeth to get ANY child support from him. Though I didn't complain because he would ACTUALLY see them on a regular basis. He has chosen to be absent from their lives for a little over TWO years now. No visits. No phone calls. And certainly NO child support!! I am just really fed up with the situation! Nobody can seem to locate him and the STATE certainly has done nothing to find him. I know there has got to be SOME way to track him down....he's not THAT smart! I'll catch up with him....eventually. BUT HOW????!!!!????
