Kind of vague- did she shoplift or kill someone. Kind of makes a difference. Why did you turn her in? I think we need more info to give you any advice

Sounds to me like you did the right thing. You have an obligation to report a crime if you see it. Think about the victim, and what may have happened if you did nothing.
Once the charges have been laid, then it's up to the police. Tell your husband that you understand how he feels, since this is his sister, but it's best just to leave it to the police.
I hope he doesn't ask you to lie to the police, cause if he does, then that would be a bigger problem. Tell him you're not about to break the law to get his sister off a crime she committed. If he expects you to lie to the police, or on the stand, to get his sister off a criminal charge, then... well, I can't help you with that problem.
Good luck!

How do you know that she did it? Maybe you should told your husband about your proof before you turned in his sister.

You apparently have marital problems, if your husband is siding with sis instead of you, the wife. I wish you luck in that.

He needs to stay out of a disagreement that is clearly between you and your sister. Ask your husband why he is allowing your sister to drive a wedge between you two? She is obviously manipulating him. Why does he allow it?

it depends on the crime committed. maybe elaborate. i think it would help people to better understand the situation. for example if it was a violent crime, then stick to your decision to turn her in. if it was something small (but still ILLEGAL), maybe you should have discussed it with your husband before turning her in? why doesn't he believe you? please elaborate.

What did she do? Next time, do it annoymously, but do turn her in. If she's not guilty, let the police sort it out.
