can you tell me why torture is a human rights issue.

Because torturing someone violates their human rights.

Violations of human rights:
"Cruel, inhuman or degrading punishment is used on a person (such as torture or execution). (Article 5) (See also Prisoners' rights)"

Human rights are those that every human should be afforded no matter where they live or what they do. Physical Torture to punish or to extract information is cruel no matter what the person did . Even if they were guilty of it themselves, two wrongs do not make a right. That does not eliminate capital punishement, it can be done without torture. That does not eliminate using chemical means to get information.

How did millions of people flooding into a country because their country is to incompetent and corrupt to provide for them and stealing a countries benefits become a human rights issue, because someone decided to claim it's one to suit their agenda not because it actually is one.

because some people think its a deplorable act to treat badly or humiliate other human beings they beleive that others should be treated as the way every other citizen of the country irrespective of the fact whether they are terrorists , bombers & a threat to society....
