I have an 8 yr old daughter whom is going in for questioning tomorrow morning and need advice she was approached during her summer holidays by my sisters husband at which time he exposed himself to her, she is extremely nervous and now goes tomorrow to be questioned by a CAS worker and police and an investigator as to what has happened during this situation she is terrified and does not want under any circumstances to go in without me or my husband can she legally be made to do this? Should she not be able to have one of us in the room to represent her legally? We live in Canada .

If the CIA employees refuse to appear in Italy, is it wrong for Italy to kidnap them and bring them to trial in Italy? What if the men are not on US soil (vacation in Costa Rica or someplace, say) at the time?

I work near a train station and the location of my parking lot makes it convenient to walk through the train station on my way to work. This morning, I crossed the tracks on a pedestrian walkway right in front of a parked train. According to the Amtrak guy that was harassing me, crossing at an unsafe pedestrian walkway (I don't believe him that it was unsafe, but I suppose that doesn't matter) is a $450 fine. I refused to show him my ID; as far as I'm concerned, without a police badge, I'm not identifying myself. In fact, if he really planned to press the issue, I was just going to run for it. Thankfully, he let me off with a warning so I didn't have to pay (or fight) the fine.

Anyway, I can see how there could be financial repercussions if the company sent me to collections for an unpaid fine, but is it really against the law? In my mind, there's a difference between a police citation and an Amtrak fine, but I don't know how the law sees it.

I had a trial hearing today against my ex and she sat up on the stand lying through her teeth about numerous things. The case was closed today regarding several domestic issues and the order of protection I have against her. She has a scumbag attorney and I had to represent myself due to financial reasons due to her screwing me over. Can and how do I prove that she lied under oath as well as sworn statement?

Dont you think if men had to have babies there would be no question if Abortion should be leagl or not?

Hey, here's a thought:
WHY is it that so many democrats are against capital punishment [because they believe it to be cruel and unusual], but they agree with abortion. The cases both envolve murder, its just that the people being killed are very different. In the case of abortion, the baby did nothing at all to deserve to be killed and has not even had the chance to breath its first breath. Capital punishment, however, is killing a person who has harmed others and does not deserve to live. Why should people have to pay for a man to live in jail when he seriously hurt someone? Why should we choose the criminals life over the baby's?

My father was working for a store in Texas as the manager. He came in one morning, only to find 3 robbers in his office trying to steal the safe. They tied him up and beat him severely, almost breaking his back. This was almost a year ago.He has now gone through back sugery and is in constant pain, not even able to tie his own shoes or bend over. He is kind of stubborn and doesn't want to hire a lawyer. I have been trying to convince him to, but to no avail. What are his rights in the state of Texas for this kind of injury? What should I do to convince him that hiring a lawyer is his best course of action? I need some help here!

I live in IL. I thought that the law states that an employee must take a break, even a 15 minute break, after six hours of work. My co-worker came to work at 7:00 a.m. today, and left at 2:00 p.m. with no break at all. I told her that I thought that this was illegal and she should look into it, but she didn't want to cause trouble with the boss. That is her choice, of course, but it got me to thinking about if this is really legal or not, should it happen to me.
Thank You. I would appreciate any answers that you may have regarding this.

Two friends of mine were murdered. the RCMP had an informant who told them there was a contract out on them. The police didn't tell them because they said the informants life would be in danger and they would no longer have someone on the inside. The informant then committed suicide, before they were killed. The RCMP did not warn them or protect them. They were shot in thier living room while their baby slept in the next room. Shouldn't they be charged with something?????

A foolish person like Siddhu, tried to make every one laugh in Star Show. He has abandoned his family for Money and BJP, for what.
He utters non-sense on TV, as if he is the only learened on the earth, and others are fool. He does not allow any one to talk. He addresses others in the most disrespectible fashion. He cant' say "Aap" to any one on TV even. In real life he is a fool. TV companies made money on his appearance. Now what.

Second-hand smoke kills but one has to be exposed to it over a long period of time. When I was growing up I was around a smoker and I'm 30 now with no signs of cancer. Although, I do smoke now. I admit it's a filthy habit and one that makes things stink horribly. It's not good for my body either. But to outlaw smoking will put tobacco farmers out of business. Alcohol isn't especially healthy either so why keep that legal when people do stupid crap when intoxicated like get behind the wheel and kill others? If alcohol destroys brain cells and is man-made then why can't marijuana be legal since it grows in mother earth? Ever around a woman with too much perfume on or someone who smells like they just got done making love to a skunk? In America freedom of choice is a right that we have. Why are car companies making the seats bigger to accomodate overweight people? Should fast food joints be shut down for selling grease products that can lead to health problems? Answer away!
