THERE ARE HIGH PROFILE CASES IN VARIOUS COURTS INVOLVING POLITICIANS & CRIMINALS. DESPITE OF THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE USED ALL THE POWERS ON THEIR COMMAND INCLUDING BATERRY OF LAWYERS & THEIR FILTHY TRICKS, CHANCES ARE THAT THEY CAN GET DILUTED PUNISHMENTS.
LAWYERS, SAVING THE CRIMINALS & HARDENDED CRIMINALS ARE GOOD OR BAD?

Itappears that Reason for d increase in crime are these advocates-
# poor follow up in high profile cases
# battery of big lawyers due to MONEY POWER
# PRESSURE ON JUDICIARY
ONE CAN SEE VAROUS CASES WHERE PETTY CRIMINALS & GOOD PERSONS HAVE TO REMAIN BEHIND BARS FOR 10-15 YEARS AS THEY HAVE NO MONEY/PERSON TO DEFEND THEM.
IITIS A SHAME FOR COUNYTRY.

Certainly there are some lawyers that do not live up to the high ethical standards of the profession. However, a lawyer is not bad merely because he or she represents a criminal defendant (even the especially bad ones). Everyone deserves representation, and so long as the lawyers act ethically (and most do), they shouldn't be subjected to hasty judgment. Granted, the high profile defendants usually have high profile lawyers, but that alone does not make those lawyers "bad."

Sorry but I don't agree with you by saying lawyer as good or bad. As a lawyer he has to interpret statute in such a manner that it goes in favour of his client keeping in mind the evidence produced in a case. It is the Judge who hear the argument of both side of lawyers & decide the issues involved in the particular case. With a weak evidence (both actual or cicumstancial) you cannot expect lawyer to win the case even if the statute is in his favour similarly with all the available evidence he can get the decision in favour of his client if the judge is satisfied with it & his aurguments. Now dont think judges are fools & dont understand the filthy tricks as you call nor they get impressed by battery of lawyers aprearing for any powerful person. Judges decide case on the basis of evidence & statute aplicable in the case. If such was not the position then powerful people like Santosh Kumar Singh, Sushil Sharma & recently convicted Shibu Soren whould have been enjoying freedom like you & me!

As in any and every profession, there are good and bad.....lawyers represent bad people very often, and the more money that person has to present their case, the dirtier it will become....it is the lawyers job to represent them in court to the best of their ability, and dirty as it may seem...but the fact of this matter is that every person has the right to legal consil, and if I ever get accused of something, I certainly want to have my choice of legal representation... the beauty of our legal system, is the lawyers do not decide the case, they just present the case, it is up to the judge or jury to convict or find innocence in the case. Hopefully they can see threw the dirty work when it happens.

Law, despite the lawyers, should prevail. It is in the hands of the Judges to deliver justice, notwithstanding the hi-fy legal luminaries. The judges should be concerned only about law and not with the lawyers. A good judge should be able to sift the grain from the chafe.

It is not the lawyers but some loopholes in the Law and its language. Law is read in between the lines and not the meaning and purpose.

We term them good, when they win for

We term them bad, when we loose.
Actually, they are the Worst creatures

all lawyers are scum.
i got jumped by some teens one night when i was at a busstop by myself,they didnt hurt me because i know how to defend myself,anyway i had to goto court to help prosecute them & the lawyer on my side made up all kinds of lies like they kicked me,beat me,robbed me,etc & left me for dead when none of this happened.this proved to me that lawyers are scum.
