Jeannette Rankin was the sole congressional opponent to World War I and World War II.....Wayne Morse and Ernest Gruening, the two senators who voted against the 1964 Gulf of Tonkin resolution, which gave President Lyndon B. Johnson the power to wage war in Vietnam.

Rankin voted against declaring war in the case of both WW I and WW II.
Morse generally opposed the Vietnam War.
I don't know anything about Gruening's position on anything.

They were all against the Viet Nam War. Rankin voted against WWI and protested the Viet Nam War. The latter Senators voted against the resolution to go to war with Viet Nam.

I think all three were against us going to war with other countries.

They are all Anti-War pacifists and tell your commie teacher to stop brainwashing you in the guise of class assignments.

All three are people of little historical significance and the only reason anyone would bring it up today is to make you think that people who protest war, i.e. the Iraq war, are "brave" and "important" people. Just like your commie teacher thinks he is.
