I am entitled to up to 50% of my ex's retirement from the Air Force. I suspect that he is medically retired. He has not said a word to me? How do I get the information that I need? Who do I contact to get this money? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Try contacting the legal office of the nearest AF base OR the last base that he was stationed at (that you know of). Hopefully it was written into your divorce decree, if the base can't do anything for you contact an attorney, good luck.

For those of you who would say something..."not your money" "leave the poor guy alone" I say to you do you have ANY idea what it is like to be a military spouse?!?! We may not be on the "front lines" but we wives have put in our time trust me. LAY OFF, besides you can't get that money UNLESS you were married for a certain amount of time.

you people are cruel. Did anybody bother to ask how long you were married . Nobody said he did not earn it, I am not sure what
you do. i would try Jag because you are entitled to it after so many yrs of marriage, I am sure you were the mother and father
why he was off defending our country that should account for something,

You sound like a leech to me. If you didn't fight
or weren't in the military yourself, then you really
don't deserve retirement for yourself. If you threw
away a marriage from someone who did retire
from the military, then you shouldn't ask for a
darn thing from him.
