Our son, who is a high school senior, turned 18 and wonders what freedoms come with it. We live in Wisconsin. With those freedoms, we are wondering if parents are relieved of any legal responsibility for his actions.

Hah! No more unsolved crimes! Cops show up, grab a hair or saliva, check it out, Bam! Case closed. Oh, and it only invades the privacy of criminals, so no sweat.

It's really sad that money has such a huge control over our health care today. We're spending trillions of dollars and investing tons more into research that is supposed to promise us a cure but, instead we're getting treatments! No don't get me wrong. Having treatments not at all a bad thing but, I'm starting to question because with all these new advancements in the knowledge of medicine, why haven't we come up with the CURE yet? Especially for the most known diseases like AIDS/ Diabetes. What is sad is that, even if someone has found the cure, I think secret government agencies are probably shutting them down because to find a cure would case some sort of huge affect on the economy. And there we go back to money again! I just wanted to know what's your take on this issue?

I am a single teen mother. My daughter is 5 months old. her father want nothing to do with her. We already went to court for child support, all he is ordered to pay is $50/month. I want him to come see her but he doesnt want to, he never responds to my messages. Can I take him to court for this? like make the judge giv him visitation dates. Or does that just work only if the other parent is willing to visit on his or her own? PLease i really need to know and quick!

I was in a slip and fall accident 3 years ago and this police officer filed a report stating she saw me, spoke to me about what happened in detail but I know that was no police officer ever there. I was fully conscious and aware of everything going on. I never told anyone at the scene of the accident or at the hospital any details on the accident and how it happened, I just said I slipped on the ice. Also the EMS report had her name on their report too. This police officer was summoned and had to give a sworn deposition recently and she has now even changed the location of my accident. Next month she will probably have to come to court because my accident case is going to trial. Any feedback would be great.

Is eFax a SCAM ?
EFAX ever heard of them.....Online: http://www.efax.com.....
This company charged me $10.00 5 days after I had signed up and another $10.00 4 days later....... I
don't know anything about online faxing services, but a free trial should be just that FREE.
eFAX Service per month is $16.99 + extras (.10 cent each for over 130 incoming) ....But FREE during
the trial period...NOTE that I sign-up via a live telephone, called on 11/8/06, about 11:35pm..I was given 2 Phone # (1) A 310 Local Area & 800 Toll Free #...The next day 11/09/06, I Faxed 3 Doucments to a 415 Phone #....eFAX billed my credit card $20.00 and told me that I sent 28 Faxes on 11/8/06 (Which would have been the very same date that I signed up which was Late night almost 12:00 am, morning of 11/09/06)...They SCAM Me Good ...Sent Faxes repeatedly...The 800 # sent faxes to the 310 # , over and over again...is a scam...25 11/08/06

I'm asking this for my mother. She is in a rather tight spot right now and she has been late on rent the past few months. She has always paid even if it was late and all her late fees. She just finished paying her late fees for this month but then she was searching on the internet to find a cheaper place to live. While she was doing this she came across an ad for her townhouse! She has not been served eviction papers but they are already trying to find new tennants for her home. Is this legal? Don't they have to tell her to get out first? Any advice for me to give my mom would be much appreciated.

My brother-in-law has just been booted out of the house by his live-in girlfriend of 3 years. They have a 2 year old daughter together and she has a 6 year old from a previous boyfriend. A year ago my brother-in-law received a $40,000 settlement from being fired from a job. He is disabled (leg cut off below knee) and the company he was working for fired him after he was unable to fully perform his duties after another surgery. Anyway, he was awarded the money and he paid off his 2005 Ford Expedition, bought the girls a $700 swingset, spent $3,000 having his girlfriend's teeth fixed and bought them a $2,000 queen size bed and mattress to sleep on. All he wants from all of this is the mattress! He left her the vehicle, swingset, and everything else they had acquired in their 3 years together. Does he have any rights to the bed? She did not work in the 3 years they were together and she is saying that it was all a gift! We are in Arkansas - does anyone know his rights? Thanks!!!
