Why would you force that insensitive immature little boy to visit your daughter, all he will do is neglect her or worse he could lose his temper when she cries and beat her.

you should take him to courtroom for visitation yet until he's keen to pass to all you have is slightly bit paper. as quickly as the courtroom order is in effect you should record contempt costs that incredibly are not going to volume to lots. There rather isn't something you're able to do to make him pass to and too be honest in the intervening time it may well be a very good element. in case you attempt to rigidity the subject you will possibly land up getting the yo-yo effect, that's he visits on the instant, says he would be back next pass to, and disappears for some months. I hate to declare this yet as long as he's paying help, enable the subject lie for the 2d. whether, if he does at a later time choose visitation i might strongly advise which you acquire a courtroom order in the previous letting him take your newborn just to guard your newborn and your self. good success with each thing. Merry Christmas

Why would you want him to be around your child if he's told you he wants nothing to do with her? Children can sense things, and even if you could force him to visit (which you can't), he may never love her... and my even spite her (some men/boys are just mean)... and you child could feel unloved. It will also put you in situations you don't want to be in.
Save yourself and your child some misery... move on. And don't have sex again until you are ready to take responsilibilty for anything that may happen. You are too young, no matter what tv, movies, or your friends tell you.
Just love that child with all your heart. Mistake or not, she is a gift from God. He has placed her in your care. Be the best mother you can be. Put your child first... always.

If he doesn't want anything to do with her. I don't think you can make him. Even if you could you probably shouldn't. A man that doesn't want to see his child isn't very likely to care for that child in your absence. Your daughter will probably be better off without his influence.
As a teen, you still have your life ahead of you, please get a good education. Go to college or learn a skill. A positive male role model in your child's life may be important, but a mother who loves her and has her life on track is more important.
Fifty dollars a month doesn't sound like very much.

the courts cannot force the other parent to visit the child. When your Ex gets older and gets better paying jobs you can take him back to court and get increases in child support, but that's it. Hopefully he will come around before it is too late. Do his parents have any interest in the baby? Maybe they can talk to him. If that was my son I would force him to support his child, AND be involved in daily care.

No. There is no legal mechanism to force someone to visit. Frankly, it sounds like you want to maintain contact with dad for yourself rather than the child. Leave him alone and collect the support. Go on with your life and concentrate on raising your child. He may or may not ever want to be a father and you cannot force him to be. And you really shouldn't care. The opposite of love is not hate, it is apathy.

you can but they can't force it legally. which sucks. and only $50 a month!!!??? why the hell isn't he forced to pay more than that? that's nothing for taking care of a child. i'm sorry you're going through this. i hope it gets better. i'm also a single mother and it's hard. i would go back and try to get more child support.

You cannot force him to visit, just make sure he pays child support and next time keeps your legs shut. Having a baby doesn't make a guy want to marry you.

can't understand why you want to force the father when he doesn't want to do anything about it. he might just as well harm the child. your priority should be to protect the child.

He sounds like a worthless person. Your daughter is much better off without him around.
