I don't know-but that is so honorable you want to be in the oldest African-American sorority. I never got the chance to pledge anything, but I'm living vicariously through my daughter-when she gets to college I'M MAKING HER pledge AKA...LOL

Pretty,
At Temple University, it was 2.5. Check your campus' requirements. Make sure you take easy classes the year that you pledge so your GPA won't fall too drastically.

What an awesome historically Black sorority to pledge! My mother is an Alpha also (so is actresses Phylicia Rashad & Jada Pinkett Smith, along with many prominent Black women).
Their bylaws are very strict and private. Go for it, any way!!!

A cumulative average of C+ and semester average of C+ immediately prior to submitting an application for membership. [In those two-, three- or four-year senior colleges/universities using pass-fail, required competency or good standing systems of grading, either shall be acceptable.]

I'm not a member but I looked it up...

Honestly, all schools have different requirements. A more prestigious school might say you need a 3.0. I've found that 2.5 minimum usually works.
hope that helped a little. =]
