Sure - there is nothing wrong with that. Especially if they have been helpful to you throughout the year. The general rule for giving gifts to professionals closely regulated by their organizations - doctors, lawyers, accountants, bankers etc. .. is to give a sensible gift in order to remove any appearance of impropriety. So where a "bottle of champagne" can be reasonable - a "diamond ring" would not be.
