Do I send them a Cease and Desist letter (does anybody have a template???, or what law I would state that they are violating?). And after that if they don't stop infringing my work, can you sue them?

I live in an unincorperated area of Contra Costa County, CA and I am wondering what the laws are for the carrying of swords. I want to wear one for a halloween costume. I have a nice rapier that I use to practice fencing. The blade is sharp though. I would like the most specific laws possible, and a link to pages containing these laws would be great, as well as posting them here. Thank you.

Like, my friends asked me, like I'm a lawyer, yeah right, but if they were at an apartment and someone was smoking weed and they weren't, if the cops came in, could they be charged with any crime? Same for drinking. They both are 20, but if they weren't drinking and others were, would anything happen to them? Any ideas?

Society doesn't make it easy these days. You're listed on the Internet. Everyone knows what you did. How do you get a job? How do you get a place to live? No one wants you living next to them. How do you prove you won't offend again? Should they just commit suicide and be done with it? Is that what all of you want?

The Waqf property of Muslims is controlled by the Muslim Board and the Church property including the Educational Institutes are controlled by them with out interference by the government. But I understand with regard to the Hindu Temple properties, the government can and does interfere. Is it not violation of secular principles.

I go into great detail. I tell him how big they are, how long, how thick, what color.. what consistency. He just laughs. Is this wrong? Sometimes I have a poop so big that it coils up in the toilet and actually is above water. Anyone else have this?

I pay the rent on time. I'm quiet and don't cause trouble. I called about a toilet that was supposed to be repaired a week ago by maintenance. He was nice and came over and said he would order the part and come back and fix it. Today we were still unable to use it. There is also a leak in the bathroom ceiling from the people upstairs that he promised to fix. This is just the beginning. As of today he hadn't shown up. I paged him and he was drunk when he called me back and chewed me out. I left a message for the manager-who is rarely in the office. The manager hates it when I ask him for anything. He even refused to give me a copy of my lease until a friend of mine called an attorney and said that was illegal. I don't want to cause trouble but there is a lot that needs fixed. I have a child with medical needs. These are older apartments and they are in a good town. I have been told it is a good place to rent as long as you don't ask for anything. What are my rights?

This question is too long to post here (since I only get 1,000 characters).

So please go here ( http://tiger.towson.edu/~apeak1/writtenwork/thoughtpieces/aquestionaboutgaymarriage.html ), read my full question, come back, and then answer it.

[Waits for you to read my question...]

Okay, now, how would you vote?

(Personally, I would vote against both propositions, since I favour freedom of religion. But that's just me.)
