Our dog, Boston Terrier at six months of age was attacked a year ago in the Vet's office by a Lab Retreaver. They were both leashed, my daughter with our puppy, sat in a small, crowded Vet's waiting room adjacent to the door where dogs exited from examining rooms. As Labador Retreaver came out it grabbed our dog by head and shook her severely, severing muscles that held eye in place, blinding eye, and damaging the neck or brain:she drags her leg now going up stairs. Who shall we sue: Vet, owner of dog, and/or the boy friend who was walking the dog? In Calif. small claims court we plan to sue for $7,500 (we have spent more) for medical expenses.

I am scheduled to give my testimony for my child's medical neglect/malpractice lawsuit soon. I am very nervous about it! The event has forever changed my son's life and has left him medically fragile. I don't want to do or say anything that will have a negative impact on his case. I feel like his whole future is in my hands with what I say. Of course, I'll speak nothing but the truth, however, I know that the truth can be twisted by nasty opposing attorneys. Can anybody here, with experience in law or personal experience, give me some advice as to how I can prepare for this very stressful event? I have already been thru one, but we need to basically do it all over again because we've brought more doctors into the lawsuit and their attys. need to be present. That one was hell for me. I had no sleep the night before and was just a wreck. I'm dreading the next one and am hoping someone here can give me some tips on giving the best testimony possible.

An e-mail from "bibi_acp;o@yahoo.com sent me an e-mail that has dishonesty all over it. There is a great chance that this person is attempting dishonest works against the law and against the law to individuals. How do I report and foreward this so this person will get his "just reward"?

After working for my employer for six months I was called to a six monthly assesment interview with the manager and the supervisor and told 'we have discided to let you go' ( we are sacking you) Reason given was the six month probationary period was up and I had not come up to the mark. I was given no notice; it was to come into force straight away. I wasn't entirely supprised because I did not get on with my supervisor anyway and believe this to be the real reason. But I read later that I should by law get a minimum of one weeks notice. Is this true? Can I make a claim? What time period must I do it by?

I received a DVD from a marketing company today. It says that if I like it, I must pay $10... If not, I must return it in the prepaid return envelope provided. I thought there was a law that says you don't have to pay for anything you receive in the mail that you didn't ask for. Is this true?

I was convicted of felony burglary at age seventeen. I was hanging around with some guys one evening and did not use my better judgement.
I raised one fellow up to a window to get in a place and told them I did not want to go in. I left them there and went home. The next day they got caught and told on me also. I was convicted as an accesory to the crime . I am now 53 years old. I need to know what procedure that I can do to get this off my record.
I am sorry for what I did when I was youg but this is still following me all of my life.The coviction has caused me to lose a lot of jobs through out my life.
I need some help to help clear this from my record. Some one's help would be greatly appreciated.

I owed taxes for 2 years and refinanced 3 months ago to pay them. However, when sheriff came beating down my door saying my house would be sold due to back taxes today, I looked at settlement sheet--the taxes were never paid! Essentially, this is my debt, and even though my mortgage company was dishonest, why didn't the title company catch it? I made the mistake of not checking the settlement sheet carefully (refi closing was at 10:30pm). I called title company and a rep said that he received notice of the back taxes but called someone at the county office who told him verbally no taxes were owed. I have title insurance. Can I get the title company to pay?

How can people place restrictions on love? Love is the most wonderful thing in the world. It can heal the wounds in your soul, make you stronger, make you happier and give you a more positive outlook on life. Yet the very things that are supposed to represent love have been corrupted. Sex has turned into something to be given out to whomever wants it, and marriage is perverted by golddiggers, arranged marriages, and marriages of convience.

Yet homosexual marriages do not yet have that corruption atached to them. The only reason these people want to marry for is love. How can we tell them that they are wrong to love? Is it so wrong to want to marry the one you love?

The ancient Greeks believed that true love could only exist between two men. Our government is based on the ancient Greek system of government. Coincidence?
