I am a heterosexual male. I did NOT chose to be heterosexual. I just am. How does that not apply to homosexuality? Aren't gay people born that way? And if that's the case, isn't it wrong to deny them any right because of the way they are born?

How is this not racist? How is this different from denying someone rights because of skin color, ethnicity, nationality, religious beliefs, etc?

I think one day we will look back on this issue the same way we look back on segregation and racism today.

My husband is being taken back to court for joint custody by his ex wife. She signed over full custody over a year ago and agreed to one weekend a month. She says now that she has changed her mind and states that she was coerced and intimidated to sign the previous papers. During the last court hearing the judge asked his ex if she had been brided, intimidated or coerced and she told him NO, and said that nobody makes her do anything she doesn't want to do. Now she has a lawyer and they are claiming that she WAS coerced, and she wants half cusdody. Yet, like I said, she already told the judge she was not. We believe she is trying to avoid paying child support, my husband just recently asked for some. Also, my husand has been an upstanding father and she has no proof otherwise. I don't think that the judge will change things when nothing is wrong, she already gave up custody and keeps changing her story and her mind. We do have a great attorney by the way. What do you think?

When do you stop looking at the stars, and decide to become a cheat, putting a 80 year old woman out on the street(legally, of course)...

Or win a class action suit(such as Blockbuster), and tell you kids "justice" was served, only for the victims to recieve a coupon...

in jail...8 months and the attorney has only done one deposition of a witness...we have suggested many other ways to get evidence and he does not move on it...our friend has no money left..the attorney already took his last $4500.00 and does not return our calls when we ask what is happening...my friend is in another state and we feel helpless..please help us ...he is guilty of bad judgement, but not of the crime he is chrged with and there is a lot of proof to show that, but the attoney doesn't move on it...what do we do ?

Ronaldo, Craig Charles, John Lesley... their are sooo many guys who get accused of rape when they are innocent. Why do their names get shown in the press, while the accusers get annonymity?

Look at Ronaldo last year, he was eventually not charged but his image was dragged through the mud, while his accuser wasn't even paraded through the press when the charges were thrown out..!! Where's the equality in that?

Also now with this Big Brother Sezer thing, why is his name being shown in the papers when he hasn't been found guilty, whereas the "glamour" model that has accused him gets total annonymity?

Fair enough if they are found guilty, but if the charges are dropped then the accuser should face charges for bringing false charges in the first place.

Don't get me wrong, rape is of course a terrible thing and if found guilty, send them to prison for 50 years, but while they have not been found guilty surely their identity should also be protected?...

Just been told by someone close to mewho works in a refuge for battered wives - a lot of those women dont want to be there but its the law that if they dont tak their childrento a place of safety their children will be taken into care... This is so wrong..Why can't the violent man be taken away. My question is what is the best way to get this law changed quickly apart from write to my MP which will take a long time and resolve nothing. What would give this the realistic publicity it needs. This is serious so no stupid answers plse...

A person not supposed to be handling my deceased father's business has taken matters into their own hands and cashed his last check. I know that you have to be at least 16 to be emansipated... but what are some steps to being emansipated? I've found article on emansipation, but not to much about it in Missouri. If I am emansipated then I plan to move in with my older brother, who has agreed to take care of me, and continue High School... anything would be good.
