I know that you have to be at least 16 to be emansipated... but what are some steps to being emansipated? I've found article on emansipation, but not to much about it in Missouri. If I am emansipated then I plan to move in with my older brother, who has agreed to take care of me, and continue High School... anything would be good.

One of the first things you need to be aware of is that no judge will declare you emancipated unless you are able to demonstrate the maturity of caring for yourself and also are capable of fully and wholy supporting yourself without help from others. That means you have to be able to provide all of your own food, clothing, utilities, and housing all on your own without a roommate. If you have to have a roommate (brother) to support and take care of you, you will not be emancipated.
