San Antonio: A young man was approaching mostly women at a restaurant I frequent and asking for a handout. He would get very close to them, right in their face, give them his sob story, anf of course they would immediately hand over some cash for the sake of getting rid if him. Is this illegal?

For example, if you were arrested and sent to prison for killing a person but they had no body.

Then..after you served the entire sentence and was released, the person turns out to have only been missing or hiding...would you have the right (legally, not morally) to kill them. And would you go to jail?

Im asking because of a movie i saw, so please dont call me a psycho or anything.

My husband and I have been married for six years and have three children together, he also has a daughter that he has not seen since she was two, she is now fourteen. His ex left the state with her when she was two and until now we did not know where she was. She is currently in a different state then us. His ex was almost civil in the beginning when he found them and let him speak to his daughter on the phone but would not let him see her. Now she has told both of them that they can not speak to each other either. His daughter had expressed interest in the past to come and live with us. My question in what are our chances of even getting shared custody when he has never paid child support and had not been involved in her life at all for eleven years? Also is there a way to get out of state legal aid for little or no cost? We cannot afford a lawyer at this point and he would be delighted to even be able to see her. But do I really have just ten days to get a gun license and start carrying a gun? Or is my new neighbor just yanking my chain?

My grandfather is Portuguese. My mother is of a different nationality, am I elligible for Portuguese citizenship? If so how long does the process take? Lastly where can I get copies of his birth certificate?

Unfortunately I do not have any details other than his name and his place of birth. I need to obtain his birth certificate, I have contacted the Portuguese authorities but with out a birth certificate they have no way of narrowing down their search. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Just saw on Yahoo News plans to kill all dogs because of rabies and a few deaths over 8 month period. So I ask, is that right? Secondly did these peope get it from eating dogs, bit by them? I don't know, I will read up more on it, but seems to me killing all 500,000 dogs in that area is wrong.

payment for the images since i already paid him for the photoshoot and paid the models for the photoshoot?

I'm a graphic designer for 10 years, I hired the photographer and the models, paid them and both the photog and the models have releases to do what they want with the images. I created event flyers with the images, and the photographer wants credit on the flyer (name and web address) and is feeling me out for a cut of the profits for the event.

im looking for copyright references if anybody has any or at least a point in the right direction.

Im married and getting divorced and worked on the house ive lived at with the wife really hard for several years just to have her tell me to leave when the job was done. I am dissabled and have a very limitted income and Im out on my own struggling and want to know if I cashed a check from my wifes checkbook would I be in anykind of trouble? $50.00 is ompossible for me to live on in a months time and Im haveing a hard time makeing it while I wait for a Date for the divorce and in the meantime the wife is loveing in the comfort that I provided for her in another state and makes good money... Im homeless Broke and tired and at the end of my rope and I have to eat which I have been getting by on 1 meal a day since May of this year and Im loosing weight that I dont need to loose so Im wondering about cashing a check she had left in the vehicle that I left in but dont want legal action taken against me such as arrest or jail time, so please if you have some answers in this area let me know.

I'm sure it probably varies by state, but typically what happens when a woman is pregnant in jail? Does she get regular hospital treatment, different food at the cafeteria, other privileges? What about the child and the birth itself? How often can the mother see the child, etc?

I get annoyed when I go to a cash register and the clerks can't count, and when writers can't spell and use bad grammar, and when High School kids can't read. I don't think the parents of those kids are entitled to waste my money to pay for schools, when they don't have to put any money in at all. Does anyone else think this is unfair? Can anyone provide a rational justification for this?
