Muslims need to realize how they are viewed as intolerant, when the Koran talks of infidels and the destruction of others who are non believers. If you accept these ideas as being the word of their God... then it alienates you from the rest of humanity. God placed you on the planet to believe as you wish... Man dictates the word of God... In Christianity, Judaism and in the Muslim religion. To believe other wise or argue the point would mean that you don't support the christian or jewish view on things. I know there are extremists in all beliefs. But the moderates don't stand up in the Muslim religion in favor of others beliefs. And yet I have seen Christians and Jews defend the right of Muslims to believe as they wish... It is a matter of tolerance. Do you have Tolerance for Jews, Do you have Tolerance for Christians. If the Jews make fun of the Muslim religion or the Christians make fun of the Muslim God, do you take it personal and vow to kill them. Do you stand up and support peple who do. If not, do you stand up against people who do. I do not think that lack of tolerance will get us to like muslims. Instead you change their mind by example. Show the world that being a Muslim is not strict... has compassion for others who are not of their religion and are tolerant of their beliefs. This should be extended to those that don't believe in any God also.

Think about how intolerant Arab counties are about allowing other churches into their countries and allowing them to spread the word and yet there are muslim churches all over the world allowed in other countries I am a Christian how does not believe in Churches and doesn't support any specific theological belief except that God exists. Are you tolerant of that idea. If I journeyed to an arab country would I be confronted by Islamic law even as a non believer... Change these facts and then come back and ask that question and see the response you get

To answer your first question yes i like them very much. Thye are just like you and me. they belive in the same things as many people in this world. Their faith is very,very similar to Christianity and more religons. People may think they are bad but they aren't. Just beccause there are some crazy people in the world doesn't mean they are muslim.

To answer your second question yes i do have muslim firends and they are like all my other friends (which some are not muslim) they are nice, sweet, smart, and more. You may think jsut becasue they have different rituals makes them weird. But throuhg my discovery most of them are about God. The same and the Christian and Jewish God.

And i this question is not ment for the internet because people can get offended or say the wrong thing which can effect the world.

What I hate are those who are always trying to preach to me and those that always want to talk about sex. I have met an equal amount of muslims that i dont wish to be friends with. But also a few that i have been friends with for 4 years now.

the problem of muslims is that they have a very bad luck to make the heart of islamic world is a place chosen to bring israel inside , arm it to its teeth , and Israel is aggressive already , and think that God gave it that land (if so why did he took it from them 2000 years?) , so they insist , and muslims have nothing else but to insist too , and for the muslims bad luck , jews are very strong in GB , and then in USA ,(as they control everything there) so the west is pro israel in whatever it does , so muslims are trapped in that fight they dont want ... and as islam's teaching - beside calling for peace- calling for being strong and fight bravely if you are attacked , and if you die you are a martyr (just like any other religion) , so some individuals made organizations for the purpose of that fighting and defending islam , some of them are freedom fighters like hamas of palastine and hezbollah of lebanon , by the name of islam they defend their countries . others are real terrorists like al-qaeda , because they used the rule of defending in islam (jihad) to fight the whole world , they think that since the west is supporting israel so it is a crusader war against islam , so they are at war and has the right to kill anyone in the west , they also has the right to kill those who help the west (asians ..etc) they even kill other muslims (because anyone dont share there war is a traitor to islam and deserve to die - the same rule of bush: with me or with the terrorism) so they are terrorists , and gave islam bad name , and gave jihad a bad name ...

now the media in the west wish is all work for israel direct people to be against islam , so that someone like you ask such question , and poor muslims cant defend themselves from : 1- israel 2- it's big ally USA 3- the american/jewish/israeli media 4- the islamic terrorists who are now kill from muslims much more than from not muslims (and they dont have the right to do both of course)

some people believe in different things just because a couple of people becoming to the same race doesnt mean everyone from that race is evil too..
