How can people place restrictions on love? Love is the most wonderful thing in the world. It can heal the wounds in your soul, make you stronger, make you happier and give you a more positive outlook on life. Yet the very things that are supposed to represent love have been corrupted. Sex has turned into something to be given out to whomever wants it, and marriage is perverted by golddiggers, arranged marriages, and marriages of convience.

Yet homosexual marriages do not yet have that corruption atached to them. The only reason these people want to marry for is love. How can we tell them that they are wrong to love? Is it so wrong to want to marry the one you love?

The ancient Greeks believed that true love could only exist between two men. Our government is based on the ancient Greek system of government. Coincidence?

If you're going to get into the debate, you're going to have to be honest with the language. No one is prevented from loving anyone of their choosing. Perhaps you should rephrase your question and try again.

Homosexual marriages do not YET have that corruption attached to them- because most homosexuals cannot get married where they LIVE!! Maybe the only reason you and I want to be married(along with many others is LOVE), but Gays and Lesbians are not always monogamous either- and not all marry just for love- some simply want attention I'm sure, and others have many other partners (now dont tell me that is love). The question is, how come we take marriage so lightly these days. Marriage should be a wonderful sacred bond that lasts forever....too many people get married on a whim. I have found true love, and now I'm only waiting on the right time to get married......I hope you have found love too- we seem to feel the same way about it. :)

It seems like you're asking more than one question.....cheater. :) Anyway, I think you are absolutely right. Homosexual marriages should be legal. Homosexual marriage liscences should be issued, they should say "Homosexual Marriage Liscense" right on top. Homosexual spouses should be legally referred to as "homosexual husband" and "homosexual wife" on all legal documents. Plus I don't think you speak for all the ancient greeks, just some exceptional literary homosexual ones.

Our society is obviously too wealthy and spoiled. Love is an entitlement for the wealthy. You don’t see starving Africans debating the topic of homosexual love. They are too worried about continuing their race through all of the adversities that life in a third world country throws at them.

My opinion is if all parties are above the age of consent, and they understand how serious a commitment marriage is. Go for it! Im not going to tell you how to live your life, just dont force it on me no matter what your views are.
