Well like it says would anyone here take the risk and hop ship and just jet somewhere else? I mean I live near Daytona and it really sucks here. No one is hiring and the economy has gone down the drain. Would anyone here just go be like whatever and take the risk and move?

Here in Oklahoma we passed one of the toughest immigration laws in the nation, but in NY they are giving illegals a driver's license. I don't understand how they can get away with that. Aren't the people of NY upset with their governor?

I had a J-1 Exhange student visa to work over the summer in the US. I came back to the UK before my visa expired and hence didnt outstay my welcome. After only a month being back home however, I wish to return to the US for only three weeks to view US universities, NOT TO WORK. Is this possible?

I'm going to be getting married to a girl from the Philippines who doesn't have a driver's license and bringing her back to the US. I was chatting around the other day, and I met someone online.
He only speaks Spanish. He tells me he's an illegal immigrant living in the USA living off from cutting people's grass.
I asked him how long was he lived in the USA, he tells me 3 years.
I was surprised he hadn't learned English yet, but I was even more surprised when he mentioned he lived near a library.
So I told him he should go there as much as he could, and read all of the English learning material such as tapes, books, and videos.

He tells me he's affraid of going there because they ask you for an ID.
I tell him they only do that when you want to borrow books from them.

Should illegal immigrants be encouraged to go to public libraries and make some good use of the material?

Hi,
I am a New Zealand citizen and got married with an Indian girl last month. Now I moved in Australia because NZ citizen can work and live in Australia. I want to bring my wife in Australia with me. What visa I need to apply for? What status will she get? Work visa or PR?
If you have any experience in this matter pl reply.
Or I should find a lawer?

There are consequences for all actions that are beyond our control.Higher Insurance rates for some of us because of those who go uninsured. Higher retail prices due to those who steal. Legal immigrants put on a back burner due to illegal immigration. It isn't fair but it's life. If we halted Legal immigration for even 1 year while they sort this mess out and implement some better means to track illegal immigrants and visa overstayers. Also better border enforcement. I do think we could get a good handle on the situation thus ensuring we don't have a repeat situation. This year would also give them the time to figure out what should and could be done with the millions aready here. Also giving us a better estimate on how many visa's should be allowed in the future so it doesn't disrupt OUR workforce.

What do you think? Would it be a viable solution?

Is the New York State gov't really that stupid or do they think the illegals are really that stupid to register for an id that does little more than tells them that they are illegal?

Condemnatory and think we deserve more then others loathing

Do you feel like God is testing us in the many things we seen and how we feel about people things and places and how we judge and how we imagine and believe we are excellently more entitled then others? If God came today would you be able to put your head up high or would you be hide your head in the sand and pretend you didn’t see him coming? This question is obvious for those that believe in God and not for those who don’t.

I post this here because it is where I see so much hate.... I too judge and am guilty of what many of you are guilty of and I wonder if God acted like us what would be our salvation. I believe that there are not many true Christians here. Would my guess be right? Right?

After just an hour of deliberation, a federal grand jury on Thursday found the 21-year-old guilty of 10 counts of transportation of illegal immigrants resulting in death, among other charges, the U.S. Attorney's Office in Phoenix announced Friday.
The conviction brings no closure to the Rev. Robin Hoover, president of Humane Borders, an Arizona group that maintains dozens of desert water stations for border-crossers.


"It's a lot of lost life all the way around to be lamented," he said. "It's the natural result for our system, but the system's broken."


He said immigration enforcement has pushed border crossers to more remote, dangerous parts of the desert and has caused smugglers and their cargo to act more recklessly.


"We shouldn't be in an environment where we're throwing spikes under tires," he said. "We don't need to be in a situation where someone has to spend their life in prison ... All 10 of those people should have been able to pursue their life dreams."

Does he have acurate information in his letter? Do you think it might get the citizens of my town angry over it? Will his letter have a impact on readers of my paper? Radical Hispanic separatist organization MEChA ("Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan") is taking responsibility for setting the wildfires in California, confimed Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. California officials received a letter earlier today containing photographs of individuals holding Molotov cocktails, then throwing them into dry brush. The faces of the individuals appeared to have been digitally distorted.

Also included was a rambling manifesto, stating that the reason for the act of arson was that "Aztlán belongs to indigenous people, the Chicanas and Chicanos of Aztlán. We are sovereign and not subject to a foreign culture."

Orange County Fire Battalion Chief Kris Concepcion told CNN that the pattern of wildfires definitely indicates arson.

"The reason we think it is [arson] is because we found multiple points of origin," Concepcion said. "... Our investigators have confirmed that this is, in fact, arson."

Concepcion said evidence indicated the arsonists wanted the fire to grow rapidly.

A $70,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to the arrest of those responsible for setting the fire. No suspects have been identified, though they are probably brown.

How can I get my social security that I paid in to transfered into my French social security.
