If you are LEGAL and have valid papers go and check within your state. In my State I can NOT claim as a LEGAL immigrant on any social benefit.
However, if I was illegal I could claim to my heart's content. Something is definitely wrong with the system here.

Far too many in my opinion, but check with your state of residence. Interestingly, some paces make more opportunities available to people who are in a place ostensibly legally, than they do for the people who actually pay the taxes that make the benefits available. Forgive my rant.

None. Immigrants are not allowed in unless they can show they can take care of themselves and be productive members of society.
If you have you hand out, don't come to the US.
