What do you think about us? I came to this country with a VISA, that means I didn't cross the bourder I came legally.
Life in Brazil isn't easy at all, we didn't have food, we didn't have clothes or shoes, there wore many times that we when to bed hungry, there wore many times we just wanted to have a place to call home, and a life to call life, now is where my question really comes. Do you think I should became a US citizen, I have always paid my taxes, and I have paid over $10 thousand for hospital bills, I have never been in jail and I would love to never go back to Brazil and make US my home, what do you think?

My wife is sending in a N-400 Application for Naturalization. We have been married for 6 years and have two children.

Our delima is this: Part 8 Section G. How many times has your current spouse been married (including annulled marriages)?

I was told that my previous marriage was annulled back in 1988 by my criminal wife (she when to jail). When asked if I have ever been married when applying for my current wife's financee visa back in 2001 I said I was never married as by law I was not via the annulment. *After* filing a finacee visa back in 2001 I searched and could not find my previous wife or any records of an annulment by her and thus proceeded to get a current annulment just to be safe. This anullment was granted by the judge and issued in Oct of 2001, two months after I filed her finacee petition. We then got married in December of 2001.

Will my wife have trouble now when she files her N-400 and it shows my annulment was 2 months after the fiancee petition date?

How can wanting to secure the borders be considered racist?

Why do the illegal sympathizers always whine about families being broken up when we deport illegals (in fact criminals) from this country and yet appear to be alright with the fact that families are broken up in much the same manner when one or both parents are sent to jail/prison for the commission of crimes ? The cause and effect are identical, a parent or both commit a crime, they're caught and either sent back to their country of origin or placed in a corrections facility.

Whether you are Scottish, English, Irish, French, Chinese, Korean or Guatemalan we don’t care if you come to America as long as you come here legally, come here to work and don’t come here to break our laws & contribute to civil chaos.

The primary reason for concern over illegal immigration is the concern over Islamic terrorists & national security.

Equally important are the disproportionate crime rates.

Every other issue is secondary although still relevant.

Peter Lynch never imagined that pulling a Mexican flag from a university flagpole and ripping it apart would thrust him into the center of a nationwide argument. Lynch, a University of New Mexico student and Air Force veteran, said he was angry on Sept. 17 when he saw the Mexican flag flying without the United States flag, a violation of flag etiquette. "I was livid with the situation, and it wasn't the fact that it was the Mexican flag," said Lynch, 30. "It was the fact that it was any foreign banner." UNM police charged Lynch with misdemeanor criminal damage to property. Lynch and the university concede that the incident resulted from miscommunication— someone simply failed to take down the Mexican flag when the U.S. flag was lowered. But it obviously touched a nerve, sparking strong reaction from both sides.Belshaw: Apology Should Be the End of Flag Flap Email comments Local talk show lines were flooded with calls, blogs were abuzz, letters and e-mails poured into the Journal and hundreds of motorcyclists are making plans to rally on Oct. 7, the day of UNM President David Schmidly's inauguration. Was it an act of patriotism or an act of hate?

“But why should any forgeign flag fly at a U.S. University for any reason?”Indeed that is the question.Unless this is Mexico why would we be celebrating Mexican Independence Day?

If I, a South African, were to marry an American citizen IN the United States..
How do I then become an American citizen myself?
Would I need a GreenCard? .. what about College? would I be paying reasonable prices like every other citizen.. or would I still be paying high prices, despite being married to an American.

If they decide to overstay it they'd be illegal but at least they wouldn't die in the desert plus it's a lot cheaper than paying a coyote. duh.

would you agree with building walls around all our coastal borders? i think it would help border security, how accurate is our patrol system realy working right now? all a terrorist has to do is "swim" over here, they have the money to buy all the right equipment to get here unnoticed accross the coast, lets face it sadaam had an underground castle. so would you agree with protecting our coastlines? why or why not? and if not by a wall then how would you protect them?

Please give details in your answer - country, date, etc. I don't know of any other time in history that such a horrible attack took place on civilians with a plane or jet.

What kind of security could have prevented such a horrendous crime?
