Why do the illegal sympathizers always whine about families being broken up when we deport illegals (in fact criminals) from this country and yet appear to be alright with the fact that families are broken up in much the same manner when one or both parents are sent to jail/prison for the commission of crimes ? The cause and effect are identical, a parent or both commit a crime, they're caught and either sent back to their country of origin or placed in a corrections facility.

Some of you are choosing to ignore the fact that a crime is a crime be it illegal immigration or any other criminal offense. If the child of these illegals have family who are hear legally then by all means let them take care of this supposed "american citizen" otherwise the child can return to this country when he or she is an adult. Is this a harsh position, unfortunately yes I admit that it is HOWEVER we SHOULD NOT reward illegal activity by allowing those who consciously choose to break our laws to remain here. The parents are solely responsible for this unfortunate even happening to their children.

This is a rather excellent point.
I am a liberal and I still have a hard time understanding why it is that people don't get the ILLEGAL part of ILLEGAL ALIEN.
I have zero problems with immigrants that wish to come into the country legally and find work.
I do have a problem with those that don't. Illegal aliens are one of the major causes for the motivation behind identify theft - or perhaps we should be calling it Unauthorized Identity Loaning
A lot of them come here and never commit another crime. Fine. Whatever. The fact is they broke the law.
So either change the laws or become legal.
What is so freaking difficult to understand.
Another point about breaking up families here. No one seems to address the root cause of the problem that lies with their countries of origin. What is happening there that makes it so bad that thousands upon thousands of men are leaving their families behind in their home land to find work in the U.S. Those people are making a conscious decision to break up their families. I wonder How are we to blame for that?
There was recently a special on HD-NET that showed a chronic problem with Mexican men leaving their wives and children behind in Mexico to get jobs in the U.S. They get here illegally, meet a new woman and stop sending money back to their first families. They become illegal alien dead beat dads. How is that America's fault?
People like to cloud the issue with fractured families and make it look like it is America's fault when infect it is the fault of the corruption in the government of their homeland.

If someone is deported it is because they do not have the correct paperwork and visa. To say that they break up families, like in recent cases. It is the parents decision to leave behind their child without their parent(s) in the US.
As a parent you must realize the consequences of your actions by coming to the States illegally, and what will happen when you are caught. When people are deported no government official is saying "you can not take your child with you"
The parents decide to leave the child in the US. Their own actions have caused the problem, not the US government.
~As a family would you not want to stay together? ~ even if it means moving to another country?
Remember when your US born child grows up they will be entitled to come back to the US, as they are a US citizen by birth.
People need to learn how to take responsible for their actions instead of trying to blame everyone else.

BS. Criminals break the law knowing the consequences, illegal aliens included. You don't pardon someone from their crime because they have children.
If a parent is deported, and leaves that child behind, that is his or her CHOICE. Period. The parents KNEW that what they did was illegal. They knew when they were apprehended they will be deported. It's not hard to understand. Common sense stuff here.
P.S. Illegal aliens have no "rights" in this country as citizens and legal immigrants do. They have the right to be deported humanely, which is more than they get in other countries....especially illegals in our country to the south of our border.

I agree with you. Without laws and rules then we would have utter chaos and I'm sure an argument could be made that we are slipping into chaos or are certainly in danger of it.
Our laws need to change but agreement must be reached to some degree on how to change the laws. In the meantime, these people are in violation and they know it. They know what they did was wrong and they should be aware of the consequences and repercussions. They took their chances. They didn't feel that they had a choice. I understand but they burden us and I'm already overburdened. It's a risk they fully embraced by coming here illegally. They may be undereducated but they are not as ignorant as they appear.
They are counting on sympathetic and gullible Americans to accept them. But we have to be careful who we allow here because a lot of them have no desire to become one of us. They are here for the money. There is no loyalty. I don't think that is true for the younger generations but I do think it might be true with the older generations. But who knows, I realize I could be wrong. In the meantime, we have to respect and enforce our laws to preserve order.

Moral relativists would be questioning the notion of "just." To answer your question, if there were a hypothetical society wherein women were denied control over mate choice, and that was a cultural norm, that would be involuntary sexual activity that moral relativists would say was acceptable. I would argue that such societies have existed and still exist, and there are moral relativists apologizing for these practices. In other words, I would call sex under an arranged marriage "rape" in most cases. I'm not defending moral relativism or rape, in case that wasn't clear.

Blah, blah, blah to breaking up illegal alien families. It's a crock, and used to try and manipulate the American citizen to feel sorry for illegals. No alien to America would have a family break-up now, would they, if they didn't enter America illegally? Ya! Ain't it the truth? Illegals, go home. You're not wanted here!
PS Take the babies you had, and USED to get yourself into this country with you!

Very true. We can't help it if people decide to break the law and come here illegally. They know the risk when they get here. If caught and deported then they will be separated from family, But they make this decision knowing the what the consequences are. I am sorry to say but I can't feel sorry for anyone breaking the law.

The cries of “it is a human rights issue, please don’t separate arrested criminal parents and children” is the same tactic that has been used by open borders Anti American one world order criminals since before they started the illegal alien invasion.
They attempt to get sympathy of compassionate ignorant victimized Americans who don't know American Citizens who commit felony crimes don't get family hardship amnesty to be with their children. Millions of American children are taken by social services every year and there is no outcry for children marches or humanitarian amnesty for felon criminals who violate American Rule of law.
There is no sympathy for 48 thousand victim Americans killed by illegals or millions who have lost their jobs or had to take lower paying jobs. There is no amnesty for millions of poor African American parents and poor white parents separated from their children by unjust drug laws. There is no compassion for American citizen children orphaned by illegal alien invasion who are forced to live in foster care or under control of social services because they had their mothers and fathers ripped from them by murderous illegals.
Report and deport. Build the fence and enforce the laws. They enforce them against Americans without amnesty for the children; we don't want and will not accept child hardship amnesty for illegal aliens.

Put the children up for adoption or let them go home with the parents. Let the parents make the decision. If they love their children and not the money, they will take them home with them.

they use all sorts of baseless arguments to try to stay in the U.S. it's the acts of a selfish person they want what they want and they refuse to let anything or anyone get in the way. there are plenty of people in our prisons who are not violent or a danger to society they are just thieves but the are still criminals. stop minimizing an illegal act

Only 1 disagreeing point. The government is partly responsible because they failed to uphold the laws so, we become partly to blame for there breaking the law. This, to me, means we need to do something for those we allowed to come here illegally. Peace
