My US passport expires Sept. 08. What is the process of renewing it.?

You can go to most post offices and get the required form. Just send the completed form, old passport and $60.00 to the passport agency and in 8-10 weeks you get your new passport. (You don't have to send in your old passport but is aves a feww weeks and $30,00 and they will return it if you ask them to.)
