Is they trying to start some kind of fight between our two groups because the Brits understand our problems with illegals in our country?

What's the point of that?

Would it be business as usual? Would there be riots and protests? Would more illegal immigrants be encouraged to come? I understand these are only opinions but please only give me educated opinions. Thanks.

It just occured to me. Why would they illegally jump across the border, if they could just drive across saying they are going on "vacation"? Not that illegal immigration is ok. But are they not allowed to vacation in the US at all?

This afternoon we received a call from a viewer who said a business near downtown Reno was flying a Mexican flag above an American flag... which is in fact illegal.

This, after photos and comments about the flag were posted on Craigslist this morning. When we were able to have a photographer go and check everything out we found the story to be true.

It also didn t take long before the situation provoked a strong reaction. We are now going to show you , unedited, what happened. Click on the video to see what happened.

Is it possible for her to attend College view her Immigration Status?
Here's the situation: I've got a friend who now lives in the USA. Her and her family entered with a type B2 visa and applied for political asylum. Right now their case is pending and their next appointment is 6 months from now. She was trying to apply to college but before she wants to know if it is possible for her to attend college right now. She has a 3.0 GPA and plays sports. She was going to play for the University that'll apply to. Does anyone knows how she can get that done? She asked me for advice and I told her that I'll do my best to find the answers to her question. She Already has a SSN and a valid work permit.. Please help me find an answer... I live with a friend who is a illegal immigrant for five years. She was arrested for physically abusing me and threatening my life a couple months ago, but the police let her go after a few days. She's been acting very crazy for the last 2 years, because she could not find a man to marry her and love her forever. She fell in love with a married man who has no interest in her, and she tried to kill me on my Birthday just because she thought she could see this man if she asked him to take me out. She started to beat me up and said that she would kill me when I tried to go out of the door. I'm afraid that she might try to kill me again anytime soon. She is currently unemployed, and she has no money to even pay the rent. I've been supporting her most of the time that we lived together, and I do not have money to pay for a psychiatric hospital. Where can I find a place that she could stay and get psychiatric help at the same time? She doesn't have a valid I.D. or social security number.

I dont want to sound racist (though some will say iam) but why is it that Mexicans think they are exempt from the immigration process? My family came from the Philippines which is like 6000+ miles away from the USA, and they all got their proper Visas and legally came to america, yet it seems that Mexicans feel they can jump the border and be automatic citizens. Why is that?

Ok so I have family member that is abusive to his wife! It drives the family crazy because we tell her to leave him but she says she can't. He is the only one working and so he spends all the money on beer and parties. I should mention they have 3 children ages 3,5 and 7.
I can not belive that she has no rights here. She was broght here as a child and both of her parents have passed. So you see she does not have family...just us and we are her in-laws. But we see what he is doing and we want to help...but how.

i am a collegue student N i like it, but so far I. D. K. if want to stay or not. i always wanted to be a doctor and because of my legal status i have to take da long path i am 23yrs old by this time i hoped to be atleast a nurse but i am still a student and i don't find any hope at all. the special courses they have so u can take the short way i don't qualify because of my legal situation. i am tired of wating to see was going to happen during these elections, i am tired of wating for Dream Act to pass. i was thinking or going back to Mexico and see if i have a better change after all is my country and i am a citizen, and i think that i can get n exelent job i speak english/spanish and finaly make my dream of been a Doctor a reality. but my family wil not aprove i know that they will be sad and will tell me that i am crazy. i really don't know what to do?

It says We The People of the United States - period, end stop.
The U.S. Constitution protects the rights and freedoms of American citizens, not foreign nationals illegally residing in the United States.

1. who are on H1-B's and are beholden to their employers and can't change jobs/ have to keep renewing driver's licenses/ their kids can't apply for educational loans/ career is stagnated/spouse cannot work/cannot start companies that will give jobs to us citizens/ cannot continue research etc etc.
Case 2 :- I am not able to change job since last 5 years and will also not be able to do so in next 2-3 years.I can not even change my profile.Silicon Valley has become hot again and hiring has picked up, but I am still working at 30% less than prevalent wages (Our company is taking advantage of this fact that I can not change job ,so there is no real threat)
-Not able to buy a house in this uncertainty, even though I have some savings built up
case3I have lot of great ideas for entreprenuership, and was even approached by local VC's and some angel investors for starting an online venture, but because of this GC backlog,nothing can be done. I am forced to live this drudgery filled life

Serious answers only. I think the Republican party has a serious tension in it between the pro-business interests that want the labor force to remain in the economy and the other groups that want illegal immigration done. The first wants some amnesty or temporary visa arrangement, the later wants the complete opposite. Bush can't hold these groups together, can any of the candidates actually do so?

I have, I was just curious how many others who are/were in the construction trades who no longer has work because illegals charge close to nothing. I am a painter, been painting for 5 years..and people only want to pay 8-10$ an hour. who else has been effected by the flood of Illegal Immigrants?

Two men who crashed into and killed a Nederland teen while fleeing police after a string of robberies last year pleaded guilty Monday to their respective roles in the crimes
With a jury panel waiting outside the courtroom and prosecutors Ed Shettle and Ashley Chase preparing to try both cases, Cuevas and Fuentes entered the 11th-hour plea agreements.

Each will serve at least 20 years in prison before they are eligible for parole.

Humberto Cuevas Jr., 21, and Romualdo Fuentes, 22, both of Port Arthur, robbed patrons at three Mid-County convenience stores on April 8, 2006, before attempting to outrun Jefferson County deputies responding to reports of the crimes, according to prosecutors and court documents.

Deputies slowed their pursuit as the chase approached a group of motorcyclists near Twin City Highway (Texas 347) and Nederland Avenue, Sheriff Mitch Woods told The Enterprise in April 2006.

But the green 1993 Honda driven by Cuevas ran a red light at the intersection, striking a 2004 Scion driven by 18-year-old Nederland High School graduate Bryan Oliver Turner. Turner died at the scene.

Both men were charged with three counts of aggravated robbery and one count of felony murder.

Cuevas, through an interpreter, pleaded guilty to the felony murder charge and was sentenced to 40 years in prison by 252nd state District Judge Layne Walker. The aggravated robbery charges against him were dismissed.

Fuentes, who pleaded guilty to the three robbery charges, also was sentenced to 40 years. Prosecutors dismissed the felony murder charge against him.

A tall, thin man, Fuentes had a dramatic scar across the top of his skull and walked with a pronounced limp. Court documents indicate Fuentes was severely injured and suffered brain damage in the wreck that killed Turner. A psychologist found him competent to stand trial.

County jail records indicate Immigrations and Customs Enforcement has requested a hold on both men, reflecting questions about their immigration status, prosecutors said.

Neither man has a significant criminal history.

The first robbery that night was in the parking lot of the E-Z Market in the 100 block of U.S. 69 at about 10:30 p.m. Cuevas then drove the pair to Leo's Food Mart at U.S. 69 and Spurlock Road where Fuentes again robbed a person in the parking lot, according to court documents.

The final robbery before deputies gave chase was at the Crossroads convenience store in the 2500 block of Twin City Highway at Spurlock Road, where prosecutors said Fuentes stabbed someone in the parking lot with the box cutter.

In fleeing the police, Cuevas sped north on southbound Twin City Highway before tearing through Sheffield trailer park and across residential yards, finally returning to Twin City Highway. The chase lasted less than five minutes.

A Mexican man has been given four more life sentences for killing his wife and three daughters in their Fort Wayne home.

35 year old Simon Rios also received a life sentence last month for sexually assaulting and killing a 10 year old neighbor girl. All five sentences are without the possibility of parole.

A spokesman for the prosecutor's office says Rios is an illegal alien.

During Monday's hearing, Judge Fran Gull accepted a plea agreement that allowed Rios to avoid the death penalty.

He had pleaded guilty in August to the beating and strangulation death of his 28 year old wife, Ana, the strangling deaths of their daughters in their Fort Wayne home in 2005.

Rios told Gull he came to the United States to fulfill his dreams but allowed what he called "the forces of evil" to take over.

He did not say why he had killed his family.

We all know that most citizens deserve to have their identities stolen, pay more taxes than aliens, pay for auto insurance, and of course be tasered for pretty much no reason at all. But since illegal aliens are above the law, would we finally start to see the flaw in cops abusing their use of tasers if we could video capture one of them tasing tha crap out of an illegal alien?

1. our health care system is affected by illegal immigrants( Hospital closures, high prices due to the fact illegals don't pay but must receive care)
2. our schools are over crowded by illegals and their children so our children don't get the education they deserve.
3. Our Prisons are over populated with illegals which cost tax payers for feeding and housing them
4. Our welfare system is overburdened by illegals who are receiving benefits for their family members.
5. People who are loosing their jobs due to the cheap labor done by illegals
6. At least12 Americans die a day at the hands of illegal immigrants
