I live with a friend who is a illegal immigrant for five years. She was arrested for physically abusing me and threatening my life a couple months ago, but the police let her go after a few days. She's been acting very crazy for the last 2 years, because she could not find a man to marry her and love her forever. She fell in love with a married man who has no interest in her, and she tried to kill me on my Birthday just because she thought she could see this man if she asked him to take me out. She started to beat me up and said that she would kill me when I tried to go out of the door. I'm afraid that she might try to kill me again anytime soon. She is currently unemployed, and she has no money to even pay the rent. I've been supporting her most of the time that we lived together, and I do not have money to pay for a psychiatric hospital. Where can I find a place that she could stay and get psychiatric help at the same time? She doesn't have a valid I.D. or social security number.

In the first place, why are you allowing someone to live with you that beat you up and threatened to kill you?? Illegal alien or not this makes no sense. The very first time she physically abused you or threatened you she should have been out the door!!!!! And to top it off, you are supporting her?
As the above posters said. We (American taxpayers) should not be paying for psychiatric care or any other medical services for illegal aliens, regardless of the reason.
They don't belong in the country in the first place. let her country pay for her medical care.
There's no such thing as "no charge". Either the hospital pays the expenses, passing it on to other users of the hospitals, or taxpayers bite the bill. If there aren't enough people paying, the hospital closes, as has happened to hundreds across the nation, due to illegal alien leeches.

All I can say is that in my state it would be a simple matter of the police determining that she is a physical threat to herself or someone else and it's off to County Mental Health she goes. A psychiatrist can also determine that but it will still involve an assessment and the police to forcibly admit her if she is not willing to go on her own. If I were you, I would look up the mental hospitals in your area and call them to ask. On a walk-in, assessments are done and insurance is determined but for this situation, it obviously would not be able to be done as such. My experience with it was being involved in the process 2 different times at 2 different hospitals with one person taken forcibly and the other I took in as a walk-in for assessment and admittance. Neither situation will be pleasant and the environments were intolerable to me...seriously, I couldn't wait to release them and get out of there. Good luck and think this one through carefully before you decide. Especially the part about hunting down free services for someone that should actually be deported...serious.

Let me get this right...you want to know how to get some free services for an illegal alien? Right?
Listen, if free mental health services are available, they need to go to the many citizens that need them. There are mentally ill Americans who are homeless and live on the streets. THEY should get the free psychiatric care...not your illegal friend.
File a restraining order against her. If she violates it, call the police and have her arrested. Do it over and over as necessary. Eventually, she'll be deported to her country and they can deal with her needs.

Most hospitals have a policy not to turn anyone away. That is how most illegals get their free care. The problem with the psychiatric situation, is they will only keep your a friend a short time. If they think she is no harm to others or herself they may let her go in a few days.

Kudos to your compassion. My word - the woman has threatened to kill you and has assaulted you! I would have kicked her to the curb!
I think you need to get in touch with your local Department of Health and Family Services. Tell them of the situation, and then explain what danger you could be in. They will either advise you on what to do or take action themselves. Personally though, I agree with the 1st answer, and ship her happy butt right back to her native land and let them deal with her. But you have to do something to protect yourself. If she has assaulted you once, she WILL (not might) do it again.

There are almost none that will accept a born and raised American citizen "free of charge."
Contact Catholic Social Services and see if they have any recommendations.

FOR ONE IF SHE CAN GET FREE HELP FOR BEING ILLEGAL , WHY THE HELL CANNOT I . I AM UNDERPAYED AS WELL , AND IT IS A CRYING SHAME WHAT MONEY I MAKE HELPS THE IGNORANT ILLEGALS GET FREE DOC VISITS .
