it should be "are they" not "is they"

I originally referred to the person who asked the questions and wrote "is he" and only changed half of it.

Its not "pro-amnesty people", its just one person doing it. Of course there are many similarities with problems in the U.S. and the U.K., and we do relate to each other. I'm always interested to hear what other people in other countries think, when faced with similar situations.
