The illegal debate is another free trade debate actually. Economists say free trade leads to higher productivity because rather than some bureaucrat, the market decides who works where and what gets made where.
Are the illegals making more $$$ in the U.S.? Yes. Are their employers making more $$$ by hiring them? Yes. Therefore, free migration has increased productivity in the
U.S., and it's increased productivity that pays for more public services in the end. Then you people should not tell them to go somewhere else where they are less productive and are paid less in Mexico.
Complaining about them not paying taxes in sooooooooo stupid. Why don't you complain about prostitutes who don't pay taxes at the same time then, or about homeless who don't pay camping fees? If you make them illegal, then you force them to hide, so they can't pay taxes even if they want to. You also have taken away their social mobility, and then you complain that they are poorly paid. You will have to invest in their education, but none of you were born knowing anything either.
If belief in migration restrictions made economic sense, you would be lobbying for some for yourselves within the U.S. as well, but you never do. Suspicious? Yes. The U.S./Mexican border is an arbitrary line, mostly the Rio Grande River, established by American army generals and politicians in 1848. It has no economic reason to be there.
Come onnnnnnnnn people.

Dude, seriously. The 'undocumented immigrant' thing has GOT to go. They are ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS! ILLEGAL is NEVER going to be the solution to this country. That's why it's called ILLegal.
They are RUINING our economy and they are getting benefits that WE are paying for and jobs that WE have lost because they do them for cheap. We are losing communities within our cities because noone speaks English in them anymore. They are bringing down the values in our homes as SOON as they move into them. They are THEN foreclosing on those homes because they can't afford to pay the mortgage anymore. They more than LIKELY have used an Americans social security number to move into them, and then the American's credit is ruined. It HAS to stop SOMEWHERE. Someone needs to stand up for the American citizens and say "ENOUGH!!"

I know the illegals in my city are a problem for our schools. We hold a 6 week summer session of school for "undocumented workers" children. This is all paid for by the residents of the city and not the migrant workers. Then programs for our children are cut and we are told we cant upgrade our infrastucture because of no money, Just one small instance of how undocumented affect our economy and the cost to our childrens education.

if i come into your house, raid the fridge and stretch out on your couch, how long before you try to throw me out or call the cops to do it? it would be ILLEGAL for me to do this, so why do you have a problem calling some one who enters the country ILLEGALLY, an ILLEGAL. seems to be my answer for the day, but if you truly believe that illegals are an irreplaceable part of our economic survival, have them all band together and go home for a month. if the country falls, we would open the border up and let them all return with much more protection. but if the country does not even notice, then we are spared 20,000,000 illegals. i am willing to try, are you?

I'll indirectly answer your question by pointing out the economy of the place they left. If the illegals are such economic booms wherever they go, then why is Mexico not the richest place on planet Earth? It should by the liberal logic be a modern-day Utopia by now, shouldn't it?

One of the major causes. If they were the solution we wouldn't be having the problems that we do now.

They're not undocumented immigrants, they're illegal alien scum and criminals. They are a big part of the problem when it comes to the economy as well as many other things.
