You know Hugh, the BNP really do have some nasty policies
for example;

Repairing the culture of marriage and making it worthwhile to be married

Repairing the damage to private pensions that Gordon Brown has Demolished.

Removing fraud and other criminal activity from all levels of government

Allowing more democracy to the populace and more of a say in local and national government at all levels

A Referendum on Europe.

Forcing all of us to accept property inspectors that have no basic training in surveying to enter your home to carry out a survey so that you can be taxed on the hard work you have put into your home. By the way, if you are a smoker and smoke in your own home while an inspector is there, you will be heavily fined.

Now Hugh, lets get away from those nasty BNP policies and talk about the real values of New Labour. What did you say?
Cameron has used a number of BNP policies, oh well that happens perhaps he is a Nazi also. any way lets get back to real values:

New Labour have set up a secret police force for the sole purpose of interigating anyone who oposses homosexuality and other PC doctrines set out by New labour this includes taking you to a police station and making you (almost forcing
you to say sorry for your beliefs)

Allowing the police, tax office, Local authority etc to tap into your phone at any time to ease drop on your private life

Removing the Queens power over the army to say whether we shold go to war

To make everone carry identity cards like in the good old Soviet Union, why do you think Gordon whants a European super state.

Sorry I didn't hear you, Oh, yes it is Stalinism, where did you think Gordon was taking us, he is an out and out communist afterall, surley you must know that? .

Apart from their inherent racism, which they try and draw people into by continually banging on about immigration or Islam, the BNP are also anti-semitic, and many of them (including their leadership) privately believe that the international community, including the USA is being run by an "international Jewish conspiracy". Is it any wonder that such a bunch of paranoid hate mongers are reviled?

Aside from that, their policies are a mixture of very nasty authoritarianism, ludicrous economics, and complete isolationism from the international community.

Their manifesto is little more than an ill-thought out mish-mash of policies from the far right and far left which the vast majority of the British electorate would never be fooled into voting for, except perhaps the odd misguided person who thinks the BNP might be good for a protest vote.

Then, even as a protest vote they are very ineffective since they are such a dead loss as a pressure group. The main parties simply take no notice of them, due to their racist and Fascist reputation.

There attitudes, agenda and policies are simply unacceptable to the vast majority of fair minded decent people in the UK.

It is interesting that they are far more reviled than the extreme left wing but that with the example of Barking and Dagenham council in London where they have 12 or 13 seats they are the largest single party but not a majority whereas the SWP have no chance anywhere

I wonder if they had won a majority in Barking & Dagenham it would have exposed them or assisting them.

Because in the early days they were allied to and had some really nasty thuggish people in the party. Some were open admirers of Adolf Hitler. Their language was racist and led to violence. Some black people really suffered from the antics of people associated with the BNP. So now they are not trusted and probably never will be.

Democracy is a system that allows us to elect leaders through a ballot. It doesn't stop us not liking people and expressing that dislike strongly. Free speech defends the right to speak freely unless the speech advocates or leads to violence or criminal acts.

Nick Griffin, their leader said:

"Without the White race nothing matters [other right-wing parties] believe that the answer to the race question is integration and a futile attempt to create "Black Britons", while we affirm that non-Whites have no place here at all and will not rest until every last one has left our land."

If you're considering voting BNP you need to consider which is more likely - that Griffin has completely changed his views since saying this; or that he is hiding behind a more respectable image for electoral convenience and he still believes this.

I'm not prepared to consider voting for a party which will forcibly remove a couple of million of my fellow British citizens because of their skin colour - whatever their other policies.

In a democracy, the BNP are entitled to put their viewpoint, and I am entitled to revile them.

They might concievably make the odd pertinent point once in a while, but the racism, fascist policies and general nastiness they exude kind of count against them in the political salons of the UK.

What are these valid pertinent points?

When condemned for not allowing Black people to join their party, their spokesman thought it valid and pertinent to explain: "The BNP is a party for indigenous British people. Everyone goes on about us being anti-Black, but it's not just Blacks who cannot join. Asians, Chinese, Aborigines, Maories, and Eskimoes can't join either, but you don't hear them complaining."

So their logic seems to be, we shouldn't be condemned for being prejudiced against one minority group, when we're equally racist to anyone who doesn't look and think like we do.

Great way to win an election.

Because BNP = Billious Numpty Pillocks

They make themselves such easy targets to take the p out of. In that case maybe they should just be "BN" - LOL.

Because they are racism scum who dress their agenda in a veneer of respectability which is unfortunately convincing enough to fool many people. And yes this is a democracy and because of that the BNP never will win anything, because the majority of people can still see straight through that veneer.

Democracy doesn't exist, your vote has no value, you have no voice.

There is no such thing as 'freedom of speech', and the big G doesn't want to hear anyone's opinion but their own, so the BNP [and others] have no hope of being listened to.
