The green card lottery is probably the easiest way to get a work visa, other than marriage. Marrying an American citizen is an almost automatic route to a green card, as long as the marriage is not a sham marriage.

I hear that taking a plane is a fast way to move here. Then again a nice long ocean voyage does the trick as well. If you're really adventurous you could travel via balloon.
Seriously though. Its easier if you have a wife thats a US citizen.

To marry to become a citizen of this great country is called marriage fraud and you will be jailed for it.
