i'm canadian and my bf is american....we plan on getting married soon....can i go and stay in the us with the intention of marriage....how much are the filling fees.....how long is the process...can i apply for work as soon as we're married...

It is illegal for you to come to the US to marry and stay without having the appropriate visa. The visa for your purpose is called a K-1 Fiance visa and some searching will explain the process and fees to you.
The adjustment of status application now costs over $1000. The fiance visa and petition will be another $500+.

It takes about 6 months before you can come to the US, and you can apply for a work permit with your adjustment of status, after you are married. The work permit takes about 3 months from application.

You need to plan and save up money to immigrate. It's not cheap or fast.

You can marry your American boyfriend in the US and reside thereat. The fees to apply for a resident visa is just minimal.
