Is the New York State gov't really that stupid or do they think the illegals are really that stupid to register for an id that does little more than tells them that they are illegal?
Or am i reading this wrong?

Is this a joke??? The main word here is "ILLEGAL immigrant". Why would anybody who is living illegally want to be documented in any form or manner. This is ridiculous. Are you sure this is real news and not a hoax in the spoof section? Oh man, and whats sad is that thousands of immigrants will actually fall for this trick too.

If the illegals want to work, they will have to get one because employers are going to stop running the risk of being fined for violating the law.

The way our idiot government works, the illegals will apply and ICE will not be informed.
We have "one bill Cedio" in CA. His main focus is getting DL for illegals. They ALMOST go it once.

Why does an illegal want any ID so then they can be accountabel for there actions>And there illegals>Have ICE there and round them up when they come for the DL>

our government is up to allot of underhanded tricks. they tried to give an amnesty just this week via the dream act we had to fight them to keep the senate from cloture followed by passing the bill. it's the third time this year they've tried. they said they will try again before years end. want to get up to speed check the link. they have the latest events as they happen.

What Leonard S said is true.! And I am sure ICE will be ordered not to arrest any of them at the DMV!
I'd hate to be paying the Insurance rates in that state!!

your reading this wrong. the drivers license would be no different than yours and they could vote too.maybe to join mexico
