Military base in E.Germany. Declared not valid passport. Confusion in the laws on citizenship after the collapse of the USSR. Because of this, I can not to travel within the country and abroad. How can I get a passport stateless persons (or Travel Document or Nansen passport) to leave Russia? In what country's embassy, I can turn to my problem? Where more liberal? I am tired of fighting with Russian emigration services. Nonsense - Russian law on citizenship is not tied to national identity. You probably remember about this old French film ( "The law is, the law" with Fernandel) I like a hero of this film, anecdote ...I am not necessary to Russia, but other country has more. Sorry for my terrible English

It would really be a great law for anyone who hires an illegal to be inprisoned and fined for each offence. Do you think it would slow down the illegals from coming in our country?

well i happen to know for a fact that most of them do pay taxes. they cannot claim taxes because only one person can claim per ssn. so in order to get a job they think of 9 numbers off the top of their heads. then they pay taxes just like all the other workers. so how do they get a tax return and where do you think it goes? next of all. I live in a county where the welfare line is outragous. you have to wait 3 hours in order to talk to a case worker. there is about 1% mexicans. then about 95% is white american. 80% of white americans standing in line are on drugs. i am no expert but i have common sense and eyes to see what is going on around me.

ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) -- Hispanic elected officials in the DC area are urging immigrant voters to turn out next Tuesday to counter what they call a troubling surge of anti-immigrant sentiment.

They urged immigrants who are U.S. citizens not to worry about being intimidated at the polls and announced a telephone hot line to report suspected voting rights violations.

Voters will choose all seats in the Virginia General Assembly as well as key local government posts in Fairfax, Prince William, Loudoun and Arlington counties and in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

Many speakers denounced a crackdown on illegal immigrants on illegal immigrants in Prince William County as unconstitutional.

Prince William County Board of Supervisors Chairman Corey Stewart and Gary Baise, who's running for chairman of the Fairfax County board, are planning to hold a news conference tomorrow on illegal immigration.http://www.wusa9.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=64564&provider=gnews

...in a heartbeat if there were a rail along either wall (they run parallel about a hundred feet apart with barbed wire and dogs to slow would-be offenders).

I know racing motorcycles have set some impressive land-speed records. With a rail and rapid-debark device, I think the bike technology could be easily adapted allowing Agents to respond from greater distances and apprehend subjects.

The advantage is fewer agents, lower cost (than helicopters or whatever), and quicker transition from vehicle to feet-on-the-ground and running.

Any idea how fast such a rocket-bike on a rail could go?

Thanks!!

On the news at lunchtime the government apologises because they underestimat foreign workers in Britain the figure they gave was 800.000.00 but now find its 1.1million. Doesn't that show that you cant't rely on the figures at all? I would bet that the actual number is even higher! Manipulation and lies!!

For example, all major parties are giving unstinting support to the mass multi million Islamic communities growing in the UK. Most members of these communities are against the UK but live here, can anybody explain why we allowed these communities to establish themselves in the UK in the first place?. Democratic Holland has allowed a demonstration against this recently.

I am aware many will not believe this but I am not against Islamic people; however I think Islamic politics are 1000s of years old and will not change perhaps in 100s of years. Look at the actions of Islamic doctors for example and the 7/7 lunatics. Anyhow, my question is: why did politicians do this without agreement from the indigenous British?

The Bank: “Why?”

Customer: “You're giving credit to illegal immigrants and I don't think it's right. I'm taking my business elsewhere.”

The Bank: “Well, Mr. Customer, we don't want to see you do that, but we can't stop you. I'll help you close the account. What is your account number?”

An 18-year-old Smithville woman who gave birth to a child and then threw it away is in jail tonight in DeKalb County.

Lilinaa Elizabeth Sosa was charged with second-degree murder after giving birth Friday night in a Mexican restaurant and then throwing the child in the restroom trash can. Her bail is set at $1 million.Sosa, who is from Mexico, has been in the United States for about a month, Smithville Police Chief Richard Jennings said. Her employer at El Rancho Restaurant in Smithville had no idea she was pregnant, Jennings said.

A waitress discovered the child when taking out the trash two hours after Sosa gave birth, Jennings said. The child later died.

Sosa was taken to Cookeville Regional Hospital Saturday after an examination showed she had sustained life-threatening injuries after giving birth. She remained in the hospital until about 10 a.m. today, when she was released and subsequently taken into police custody.

Sosa’s first court date is Nov. 8, Jennings said.

In California, if 3.5 million illegal aliens moved back to Mexico, it would leave an extra $10.2 billion to spend on overloaded school systems, bankrupted hospitals and overrun prisons. It would leave highways cleaner, safer and less congested. Everyone could understand one another as English became the dominate language again.

* In Colorado, 500,000 illegal migrants, plus their 300,000 kids and grand-kids—would move back “home,” mostly to Mexico. That would save Coloradans an estimated $2 billion (other experts say $7 BIL) annually in taxes that pay for schooling, medical, social-services and incarceration costs. It means 12,000 gang members would vanish out of Denver alone.

* Colorado would save more than $20 million in prison costs, and the terror that those 7,300 alien criminals set upon local citizens. Denver Officer Don Young and hundreds of Colorado victims would not have suffered death, accidents, rapes and other crimes by illegals.

* Denver Public Schools would not suffer a 67 percent drop out/flunk out rate via thousands of illegal alien students speaking 41 different languages. At least 200,000 vehicles would vanish from our gridlocked cities in Colorado. Denver’s four percent unemployment rate would vanish as our working poor would gain jobs at a living wage.

{snip}

* In Chicago, Illinois, 2.1 million illegals would free up hospitals, schools, prisons and highways for a safer, cleaner and more crime-free experience.

If 20 million illegal aliens returned “home”—

{snip}

No more push ‘1’ for Spanish or ‘2’ for English. No more confusion in American schools that now must content with over 100 languages that degrade the educational system for American kids. Our overcrowded schools would lose more than two million illegal alien kids at a cost of billions in ESL and free breakfasts and lunches.

We would lose 500,000 illegal criminal alien inmates at a cost of more than $1.6 billion annually. That includes 15,000 MS-13 gang members who distribute $130 billion in drugs annually would vacate our country. In cities like L.A., 20,000 members of the “18th Street Gang” would vanish from our nation. No more Mexican forgery gangs for ID theft from Americans! No more foreign rapists and child molesters!

Losing more than 20 million people would clear up our crowded highways and gridlock. Cleaner air and less drinking and driving American deaths by illegal aliens!

Drain on America’s economy; taxpayers harmed, employers get rich

{snip}

At least 400,000 anchor babies would not be born in our country, costing us $109 billion per year per cycle. At least 86 hospitals in California, Georgia and Florida would still be operating instead of being bankrupted out of existence because illegals pay nothing via the EMTOLA Act. Americans wouldn’t suffer thousands of TB and hepatitis cases rampant in our country—brought in by illegals unscreened at our borders.

{snip}

Over one million of Mexico’s poorest citizens now live inside and along our border from Brownsville, Texas to San Diego, California in what the New York Times called, “colonias” or new neighborhoods. Trouble is, those living areas resemble Bombay and Calcutta where grinding poverty, filth, diseases, drugs, crimes, no sanitation and worse. They live without sewage, clean water, streets, electricity, roads or any kind of sanitation. The New York Times reported them to be America’s new “Third World” inside our own country. Within 20 years, at their current growth rate, they expect 20 million residents of those colonias. (I’ve seen them personally in Texas and Arizona; it’s sickening beyond anything you can imagine.) By enforcing our laws, we could repatriate them back to Mexico.

High integrity, ethical invitation

We invite 20 million aliens to go home, fix their own countries and/or make a better life in Mexico. We invite a million people into our country legally more than all other countries combined annually. We cannot and must not allow anarchy at our borders, more anarchy within our borders and growing lawlessness at every level in our nation.

Uprooting themselves from friends and family, daring everything against the chance of forging a new life, committing to working hard to succeed against the odds, and often having deep family values and commitments, so much so that they send money home.

Here in Australia we have benefited enormously from Hong Kong Chinese who settled here in great numbers following the return of HK to China. We have welcomed the Lebanese and Asians who have redefined our shopping centres and bought us healthy fast food. We have a backbone of British migrants and almost a third of us are migrants or second generation migrants.

America can rightly claim the same heritage of diversity, and so these days can the UK.

So shouldn't we welcome migrants as people who lterally have "Get up and Go!" ?

Lets face it, while a few migrants (legal and otherwise) make good in the USA, the majority remain in menial jobs, live in poor housing and cope with extreme prejudice from some quarters.

America, compared to most of Europe - provides a very thin welfare net, has no universal public system of health care system and provides almost no benefits to the unemployed. So you would think that any migrant wanting to leech from a new country would pick Europe streets ahead of the US wouldn't you?

Is the reason that America has such a big migrant problem PARTLY because US citizens love their country and portray it as the land where "anyone can live the American Dream" - and evangelize tantalizing images of riches and plenty in almost every Hollywood film produced?

D.C. will NEVER do anything about illegal immigration except pretend. Chertoff is the biggest conn this side of the Mason Dixie line. Like Giuliani, he is always talking about cracking down on illegals but never deportation. Martinez, his sidekick, just retired. He went and found another hispanic to spearhead the project. This man is nauseating! The American people will win the battle State by State. In the near future, certain Southern States will come down hard on illegals. Illegals will run to another State, which inturn will create stiff laws. Washington will get the message from the States. The States will do what D.C. failed to do. When Denver came down on illegals, most left overnight. This is the right way to do it. Laws must be created that penalize rich crooked politicians, corporations, private business and others with felonies and imprisonment. Many illegals will leave for having no place to stay or work. This is how to effectively fight illegal immigration.

According to the news service SBS: "New figures show that British and American people make up the bulk of Australia's illegal immigrants, despite headlines and fluster about Middle Eastern boat people.

There were more than 10,000 illegal British and American immigrants in Australia on June 30 2004, about a fifth of all people who overstayed their visas and remained in the country unlawfully.

Another 3,900 Chinese illegal immigrants remained in Australia last year, along with 3,000 Indonesians and 2,800 South Koreans.

Afghans do not rate a mention, while there were less than 200 illegal Iranians in Australia in June. "
