It is the US government that funds schools and services, and the US taxpayers, Native Americans amongst them, who built and pay for these services. We subsidize poor people so we limit how many poor can come. Their better life is at our expense.
The Native Americans did NOT pay for our schools or services when we came, by the way. And I don't see Native Americans illegally immigrating to south of the border where a different group of Europeans handled things a little bit differently than we did here.

I don't think most do. Not illegal aliens. Some do say we came here illegally. I think Native Americans consider us immigrants and they aren't.

I hope not. In order for the European settlers to be "illegal immigrants," the Native American Indians would have had to have LAWS which REGULATED immigration. To the best of my knowledge, they didn't. Thumbs up to Mark J.

when you consider the fact that we murdered far more Native Americans than the Nazis killed Jews, I doubt it.

I think most realize that is history. The people of today learn from history not try to use it to justify illegal behavior.

The American Indians are on the point of extinction. I don't blame them for any comments they make. James Garner said in an interview that he had quit drinking because it made him feel like taking back his land, and I thought that it was a poignant joke.
