First of all, undocumented citizen is an oxymoron.
Second, the Red Cross does not help people commit crimes and that is exactly what the ILLEGAL ALIENS are doing as they cross that border.
You say many die each year trying to make it? Hmmmm, maybe that should wake them up a little and get them to STOP trying. How many more will die before they quit?
We already have set up water stations for these CRIMINALS. And I, personally, think that never should have been done. Why make it easier in ANY way??

Dah!!! Why in the world would we as American citizens want the Red Cross to assist "illegal aliens" cross the border illegally? If the illegal alien is willing to attempt to cross the border then they know the chances they are taking, one of which is death. Lets turn the question around and ask why isn't the Mexico version of the Red Cross assisting the illegals by telling them of the dangers and providing them with enough water and other essentials before they attempt to cross. Next thing you know you will be wanting the USA to provide stations throughout the border regions where the illegals can purchase sandwich's, soft drinks and a cot to rest on.

Sorry, but they are not crossing legally, and therefore don't deserve assistance. We should be gathering them all up and sending them right back where they come from. I understand that often it is a bad situation, but they need to use the proper channels for coming into the US.
They are acting illegally, the Red Cross should not waste their precious resources helping criminals. They have a hard enough time helping citizens in need.
So many people come to America, then leech off our systems (like Welfare and WIC) for extended periods of time. They expect things to be in their language. It ticks me off...there is a new Lowe's (home improvement store) and the signs are in English and in Spanish! It's ridiculous. If you are coming to America, learn English, and use it in public. I could care less what they speak at home. They don't contribute to the system by getting a job like the rest of us have to. It's ridiculous.
We need to tighten up the borders so that people can't cross illegally. It is a big problem and something needs to be done about it.

1. They aren't undocumented. They are illegal.
2. They aren't citizens of the USA. They are citizens of their Country of birth.
3. The Red Cross owes them no assistance. Nor does any other agency or the government of the USA.
4. Cross the desert at your own peril and risk. If you die in the attempt, that's the breaks of the game they CHOOSE to play.
No sympathy for them.

Perhaps because they are breaking the law by crossing the border and the US Red Cross isn't in the habit of supporting lawbreakers.
The only place they are a citizen of is their own country, not ours, so please don't call them "undocumented citizens". They are criminals - whatever their reason for coming across the border.

I think you may be a troll (sorry if you are not) but your ID is the Mexican flag and you are just set up with Y.
Anyway I did hear that aid was approved by the house and Senate for Mexicans crossing the border but it won't be provided by the Red Cross...I think it will be Blackwater Security...oh happy day....

There's no such thing as an "undocumented citizen". The Red Cross is not in the business of aiding and abetting criminals in the commission of a felony.

The Red Cross doesn't want to hang out on the Mexican side of the border. Come to think of it, neither do their own people.
