Yes you can make $10 USD an hour. However, the minimum wage is different for every state. Here in Michigan, our min wage is $7 USD an hour. Of course, depending on the job, you can definitely start off more than that.

As far as the hours, usually we have 8 - 12 hour days. If you can find a place that has alot of overtime, I don't think it would be a problem to work more than that. I know my job would love for me to live there - but I can't do that with my family and all.

Good Luck!

Full time in the US is considered to be 36-40+ hours per week plus any over time. Most places won't allow 18 hour days because they usually are not open for business that long but some companies will pay your hourly wage plus 1/2 your wage for every hour over 40 hours a week.

Here is a breakdown of the minimum wage that can be offered to workers by state. This is the *minimum* so people who work in a McDonalds in NY will get at least $7.15. Jobs that require more skill and education will obviously pay more. If you have a $50,000 a year salary and work 40 hours a week, you average about $24 an hour.

It is possible to make 10 per hour in America depending on you skills and your trade. Most employers, legitimate ones anyway, will not work you 18-20 hours per day. The average work day here (full-time) is 8 hours a day for 40 hours per week. Some employers will allow overtime, but not 18 to 20 hours per day. You must keep in mind the cost of living here also. Depending upon where you go you will have to pay rent which can run a few hundred up to several hundred dollars per month. Food is higher, transportation cost is higher, etc. You don't say what you occupation is so it's hard to say exactly what you could make. I think minimum wage is now at about $5.85 per hour. Employers are also being fined for hiring illegal immigrants so you must get some type of work visa to enter this country and work legally. Also keep in mind we already have about 12 million immigrants that might have already taken the job you seek. I don't know where you are living, but it might be a good idea to just stay there.

the federal minimum wage is still $5.15 per hour some states have a higher minimum. where ever you work the highest standard or strictest law applies. most states do not regulate the number of hours in a day you can work unless it constitutes a safety issue. you must be paid overtime for more then 40 hours per week. most employers try to prevent overtime it is not a cost effective way to run a business. if you want to work more hours generally it would be working for a second employer. many jobs pay more then minimum wage depends on your abilities, work ethic, dependability, et-cetra.
come here legally and there are opportunities come here illegally and by many you will be hated.

Yes you can make that amount in several part time and full time jobs. The minimum wage in most places is around six dollars. And you are able to work that many hours as long as you get suffiecient breaks and they pay you over-time pay which is usually time and a half.

18.20 hours is far to long to safely work a day,

10 $ an hour it depends on the work you perform and who employs you good luck, the American dream ain't what it used to be.
