In California, if 3.5 million illegal aliens moved back to Mexico, it would leave an extra $10.2 billion to spend on overloaded school systems, bankrupted hospitals and overrun prisons. It would leave highways cleaner, safer and less congested. Everyone could understand one another as English became the dominate language again.

* In Colorado, 500,000 illegal migrants, plus their 300,000 kids and grand-kids—would move back “home,” mostly to Mexico. That would save Coloradans an estimated $2 billion (other experts say $7 BIL) annually in taxes that pay for schooling, medical, social-services and incarceration costs. It means 12,000 gang members would vanish out of Denver alone.

* Colorado would save more than $20 million in prison costs, and the terror that those 7,300 alien criminals set upon local citizens. Denver Officer Don Young and hundreds of Colorado victims would not have suffered death, accidents, rapes and other crimes by illegals.

* Denver Public Schools would not suffer a 67 percent drop out/flunk out rate via thousands of illegal alien students speaking 41 different languages. At least 200,000 vehicles would vanish from our gridlocked cities in Colorado. Denver’s four percent unemployment rate would vanish as our working poor would gain jobs at a living wage.

{snip}

* In Chicago, Illinois, 2.1 million illegals would free up hospitals, schools, prisons and highways for a safer, cleaner and more crime-free experience.

If 20 million illegal aliens returned “home”—

No more push ‘1’ for Spanish or ‘2’ for English. No more confusion in American schools that now must content with over 100 languages that degrade the educational system for American kids. Our overcrowded schools would lose more than two million illegal alien kids at a cost of billions in ESL and free breakfasts and lunches.

We would lose 500,000 illegal criminal alien inmates at a cost of more than $1.6 billion annually. That includes 15,000 MS-13 gang members who distribute $130 billion in drugs annually would vacate our country. In cities like L.A., 20,000 members of the “18th Street Gang” would vanish from our nation. No more Mexican forgery gangs for ID theft from Americans! No more foreign rapists and child molesters!

Losing more than 20 million people would clear up our crowded highways and gridlock. Cleaner air and less drinking and driving American deaths by illegal aliens!

Drain on America’s economy; taxpayers harmed, employers get rich

{snip}

At least 400,000 anchor babies would not be born in our country, costing us $109 billion per year per cycle. At least 86 hospitals in California, Georgia and Florida would still be operating instead of being bankrupted out of existence because illegals pay nothing via the EMTOLA Act. Americans wouldn’t suffer thousands of TB and hepatitis cases rampant in our country—brought in by illegals unscreened at our borders.

{snip}

Over one million of Mexico’s poorest citizens now live inside and along our border from Brownsville, Texas to San Diego, California in what the New York Times called, “colonias” or new neighborhoods. Trouble is, those living areas resemble Bombay and Calcutta where grinding poverty, filth, diseases, drugs, crimes, no sanitation and worse. They live without sewage, clean water, streets, electricity, roads or any kind of sanitation. The New York Times reported them to be America’s new “Third World” inside our own country. Within 20 years, at their current growth rate, they expect 20 million residents of those colonias. (I’ve seen them personally in Texas and Arizona; it’s sickening beyond anything you can imagine.) By enforcing our laws, we could repatriate them back to Mexico.

High integrity, ethical invitation

We invite 20 million aliens to go home, fix their own countries and/or make a better life in Mexico. We invite a million people into our country legally more than all other countries combined annually. We cannot and must not allow anarchy at our borders, more anarchy within our borders and growing lawlessness at every level in our nation.

Well someone has definately done their research. And to an extent, I agree whole heartedly. I'm tired of spending billions upon billions on those that come here illegally while we have homeless AMERICANS living under bridges. It makes no sense. However, on the other side of that coin, there are those that do come here illegally that are not in the system, commit no crimes and work their buns off doing crap jobs that we refuse to do just to feed their families. Mexico offers little in the way of possibilities and I have nothing against someone trying to better themselves. It's sort of a double edged sword. Damned if we do, damed if we don't. Just think for a second about all the field workers, the factory workers, and the food service industry, motels/hotels, etc. Most of them are migrant workers. If we kicked them out, who would do the work? We have too many Americans on welfare who are use to getting their monthly checks for not working. Do you think they'd step up? Not likely. What would be the point for them?

I like the fact that you really put facts behind your question, and I agree with the concept; however, there has to be some sort of balance. We all have to live in one world, we might as well make it a peaceful one.

So if you were to say that all these illegals that are on the welfare system, and breaking laws, or sitting in jail should be deported, then you have my vote. I'd even say if you want to be American, go over to Iraq for 18 months, fight for our country, learn english, the plegde of allegiance to the American flag, and then you can earn citizenship. I just have a problem punishing everyone for a few bad apples.

Illegal immigration causes many problems that's for sure. That is an indisputable fact.

Given your estimate of 20 million illegals let's proceed from there. Let's say even 1/3 of them are holding jobs. That's almost 7 million people in the workforce. Contributing to the tax base etc. That would leave 7 million job vacancies. Would our nation be able to handle that many leaving the workforce? Probably not. Would Americans step into these jobs for the pay offered? Probably not. Companies bottom line is profit. Would they raise wages to get Americans to work these jobs? Probably not. More companies would begin to outsource. Thus leaving many Americans out of jobs that now hold jobs. Our entire country would collapse and the Great Depression would look like a cakewalk.

As I've said illegal immigration is wrong and needs to stop. But we also need to be realistic on deporting as you say 20 million people. Believe me...It's not going to happen for various reasons. So we must move forward and think of realistic ways to deal with the situation at hand and also insure the illegal situation is stemmed in the future. Better border security and visa systems need to be taken care of first and foremost so the situation doesn't progressively get worse. Once the flow is stopped we can then work on what to do with those already here.

With an approximate 105 million Americans fit for military service any given year. (CIA world fact book) We should not have a problem with our borders!!! This is our government’s fault!!!

This is a very generic idea... but look at the numbers...
- 105 million able bodies
- 1969 miles of border = 10,396,320 ft of border
- 1 person to guard 20 ft of border for an 8-hour shift
- 3 shifts a day
- 365 days
- Each able body would have to pull 5.4 / 8 hr shifts a year
- Increase the 20 ft section to 100 ft and that would put each able body pulling one 8 hr shift per year to guard our southern border!!!

Better yet!!! Try this one!!

56,920 full time positions to place a guard every 100 ft / 24 hrs a day / 365 days a year... I figured in 2 weeks of vacation for each of these 40 hr a week positions.
HOW MANY TROOPS DO WE HAVE IN IRAQ?

The problem of Ilegal Immigrants not only pertains to Mexicans, sure that is one of the borders that they may enter from but not 100% of these aliens are of Mexican Ethnicity. Those individuals are of Nicaraguan, Puerto Rican, Cuban and other hispanic decent even Asian. The homeless people I have seen standing at corners holding signs are not anywhere close to being hispanics. I see plenty of families holding up the grocery lines turning in their Food Stamps never or seldom a hispanic. The people I see washing cars are nothing more than hispanics. Which, proves my point they are hard working individuals just looking out for their families. As far as the crimes being committed they may just be the ignorant ones that aren't street smart to get away with such crimes. I would love for the Dept. of Immigration and IRS to start checking for visa's and audits on the nail salons. It amazes me that these businesses request that you leave your checks blank or make out to cash. But no one questions their residence status, unfortunately!!! I'm all for everyone following the law as far as applying for citizenship. Granted they make it affordable for them to follow procedure.

Wow....you have really done your homework! I personally do not want any illegal immigrants into our country as we are becoming overcrowded and that causes famine, sickness and even death. I believe that all Americans should speak English fluently.
However, I do not agree that all of them cause filth, degradation, sickness, crime or drugs. We have that going on with many born and bred Americans already.
My question would be "Who will harvest the crops?" I have done many jobs that were dirty jobs but most Americans will not stand out in the hot sun all day for a low wage. We need to figure that one out.
Oh yea..it's not just Mexico...there are Cubans and even the Middle Easterners that some pose a threat to our country. Where do you think the terrorists got their pilot licenses that hit on 911 and other places and times? Do I hate other people from other countries...NO. Just think in a hundred years or so...after the government leaves all these people into the country legally or illegally...our food supply diminishes , our forests are cut down for housing, will will be cramped in small places and will die from famine and disease. America has a big heart....but there is just so much land in the USA.

Moot point.

#1. Illegals make for lucrative bottom lines for businesses who hire them.

#2. There are actually 38 MiL Mexicans along with Asians, South Americans, Africans and Europeans ( making the whole number around 50 MIL) who are illegally in this country.

#3. How do we round up all of them to send back? It isn't a feasible solution ( we didn't have enough cops or military to even arrest the marchers recently).

#4. Greed is number one in the USA and as long as Americans can't (wages are to low to live on alone) or won't (most Americans don't have a worth ethic worth crap these days), do these 50 mil jobs, the ILLEGAL is here to stay.

#5. It's all past the point of no return. This has been going on for 40 years.

Either get used to it, start a civil war, stop hiring illegals, learn to grow your own food and clean your own houses or just fuggedAboudit!

I agree, but there will be losses. A sudden change like that would cause some business to suffer. THose wo catter to the Hispanics and those who rely on cheap labor. Of course Increasing temporary visas to help until we adjust would eleveate some of the problem.

Also don't forget that deporting these people would help eleviate the drought problem from California to Texas.

I just read that Los Angeles has enough water for 1 million people. Unfortunately our population is many times that.

I LOVE the detail you put into this. It would DEFINITELY save us money and help pay for the war in Iraq. With the money saved by taxes alone, businesses could actually start paying REGULAR wages to Americans.

And maybe those people who hired illegals, might get off there butts and do some work themselves...or lose their businesses because they deserve to. Our kids would be smarter and there would be a LOT less ticked off Americans over this illegal immigration crap. Which in turn leads to happier lives for a lot of people.

As for the farms, I am sure there are many LEGAL immigrants and Americans that would do the job if paid a decent wage.

Don't get me wrong, I am all for people making a better life for themselves, but you can't make a BETTER life by doing it illegally.

And maybe ONCE in 8 years, Americans might feel that our government is on OUR side.

The first time we have a terrorist attack on the level of 9/11 that we find out the participants snuck across either land border, we will shut down both borders over night and have any illegal alien out within a week. Someone will cry about how much they put into opur economy, but on balance the loss of money, straining of social services and the loss of community serives like the hospitals for example, far outweighs all that, not to mention the security and criminal issues.

Great idea, in theory. We have already seen what using law enforcement in the place of an actual solution does. Look at Irving, TX. The drop out rate is sky high at Irving High School since illegals are being picked up at schools. Soon the fearful illegal alien children will be turned on to crime and other activities to take the place of books. If we are going to solve the problem, we need to actually come up with a comprehensive solution as opposed to 'one off' fire drills imposed by the state government. Illegals didn't show up in the US yesterday.
- Great so our schools won't be overloaded, but our streets will with more criminals.
