I know this guy in the Dominican Republic, he is 18 and goes to a University and is a good upstanding citizen. I REALLY want him to come to my prom in June. Do you think that there is any way that I could get him a Visa to come here?!!

Please help me!

My parents say they are fine with it, but it is going to be hard, I know that!

You could ask your parent to give him a sponsor/invitation letter for him and the letter saying that he is a family friend who will be visiting you guys and your parent will be responsible for him while he is in US. Your parent could say that they will provide accommodation for him. He can come with a tourist to visit you. Usually easier when someone from other country to get a tourist visa to come to visit US while they are in college, having a good job, or have huge money in bank account.

Visit http :// uscis.gov if you want to find more details regarding to invite someone to come here.

Good Luck!

You are unable to apply for a visa on behalf of your friend, your friend must apply for the visa himself at the American Embassy in the Dominican Republic.

The website below will give your friend all the details he needs to apply for one.

Leave him be! Once he's on American soil, there is no way he would ever go back to his own country. He'll want to become a citizen of the U.S. Find someone else to take to your prom. You still have time. Only thing on his mind is the American Dream.

No way will this be possible due to his country of origin, likely lack of personal income and your age.

Sorry

Don't even try. Plus if you are still in high school you can't sponsor him.
