A conversation between a customer and Bank of America employee:

The Bank: “Bank of America, may I help you?”

Customer: “Yes, I want to cancel my account. I don't want to do business with you any longer.”

The Bank: “Why?”

Customer: “You're giving credit to illegal immigrants and I don't think it's right. I'm taking my business elsewhere.”

The Bank: “Well, Mr. Customer, we don't want to see you do that, but we can't stop you. I'll help you close the account. What is your account number?”

Customer: (gives account number)

The Bank: “For security purposes and for your protection, can you please give me the last four digits of your social security number?”

Customer: “No?”

The Bank: “Mr. Customer, I need to verify your information, but in order to help you, I'll need verification of who you are.”

Customer: “Why should I give you my social security number? The reason I'm closing my account is that your bank is issuing credit cards to illegal immigrants who don't

have social security numbers. You are targeting that audience and want their business. Let's say I'm an illegal immigrant and you've given me a credit card. I have a question about it and call for assistance. You wouldn't be asking me for a Social Security number, would you?”

The Bank: “No sir, I wouldn't.”

Customer: “Why not?”

The Bank: “Because you would have pressed '2' to speak in Spanish. We don't ask for that information when calling in on the Spanish line.”

Not sure what Ryan above meant. which part is un American. The part where we are a country of Rule of law and that this is an illegal ? or that ...as we all know.....companies and business's cater to anyone that will buy their products or services ? No matter who they are ?
You know...that really isn't a very good trait for Companies and business's, so I'd agree, cating to anyone without regard to who it is your doing business with is Un American. Companies and Business's go where the money is, I can't fault them with that basic premis, but they should at least hold true to the ideology supported by the country they live in. They've been making the illegal issue more complicated, who know's maybe unwittingly laundering terrorist money or at least collecting it and paying interest, they've also bought into many frauds like man made global warming just because they can make a quick buck selling you carbon neutralizy.

This is nation built on law and accountability. Adhering to both has never been easy for anyone. But the easy alternatives yielded living situations people are fleeing from. Often to come to this TOUGH-LOVE LAND. And often illegally.

Unfortunately, these who come illegally simply don't get the "Tough-Love" part; that it reciprocates and multiplies that 'love' and makes a better world for the next generation.

By cheating the system and cutting in line, they admit by their deeds that they're simply not ready for the U.S. They're not yet ready to do "whatever it takes" for a BETTER LIFE.

It's not "funny" and it's not a "joke". It's FACT.

I cancelled my Bank of America several months ago for this very reason.

And if I talk to a customer service on the telephone and if I have reason to believe it's an overseas customer service, I hang up after telling them I live in the U.S., I do business in the U.S. and I WILL NOT support outsourcing by talking to "customer service" people in other countries. I call back and tell them exactly why I hung up.

BTW...they are given "American names" such as Bill, Mary, or George to throw you off.

P.S. I don't believe ANYTHING BOA tells us about the reasons they are laying off employees. You don't honestly believe they would come out and make a public statement that they are laying off employees because they are being hard hit because their company is being boycotted because they cater to illegal aliens do you????

Are YOU aware that the manufacturing of almost 90% of apparel (you can look that up in the dictionary) sold in the United States is outsourced to foreign countries? The next time you go in your closet, try to find ANYTHING made in the USA. Start looking at labels, you will be amazed.

BTW...what do you honestly know about vehicle makes and where they are manufactured or where their internal parts are from?

Here's a few quick examples off the top of my head

My FORD truck was assembled in Mexico.
Many Ford and Mazda (made in Japan) automobile parts are interchangeable.
We have a brand new Toyota plant in San Antonio, Texas.

So....what's the extent of YOUR knowledge on outsourcing? I could go on and on...but...I'll open the floor up to you....with your "infinite wisdom and intelligence". I could recommend several excellent books and movies if you really want to educate yourself...

BOA is finding out all their out reach to illegals do not fill their vaults with money. Last I read BOA is laying off 3000 just from the housing makert slum. Include many Americas pulled their money out BOA. BOA felt the illegals would save them. I am glad it didn't

I pulled all my money out of BofA a long time ago, and put it in Banamex
