...in a heartbeat if there were a rail along either wall (they run parallel about a hundred feet apart with barbed wire and dogs to slow would-be offenders).
I know racing motorcycles have set some impressive land-speed records. With a rail and rapid-debark device, I think the bike technology could be easily adapted allowing Agents to respond from greater distances and apprehend subjects.
The advantage is fewer agents, lower cost (than helicopters or whatever), and quicker transition from vehicle to feet-on-the-ground and running.
Any idea how fast such a rocket-bike on a rail could go?
Thanks!!

Phil: Labor can't stay cheap, tho, beCAUSE of the ACLU. The crux is MISinterpretation of the 14th Amendment. Supreme court has always referred to the Congressional Globe to clarify intent. Until Plyler, 1982. Aliens were NOT included under the Citizenship Clause of the 14th; every statement made in the Senate concerning birthright citizenship to aliens insisted they be excluded. In Plyler, the court actually argued that it was improper to look outside the wording of the amendment for clarification, despite having done it from their inception and even afterward.
So, anchor babies will be protected as citizens and demand all they can. Labor costs will not stay down. Welfare is mushrooming. SS is dead. No one wants that. Several in congress are ready to act against illegal aliens.
