With all the talk of the importance of Political Experience, it must not be too important: or Bush would never have made it to the White House. Pretending to be on the side of Evangelical Christians he hi-jacked Christianity to gain the power seat. Political experience didn't even come into play. So what would be your main expectations of a new President ?

They emigrate here, set up shop and family.
they are free from religious persecution. There is the protection of Law and yet they still wear the full burka. The government isnt going to give them 200 lashes.

While they were still together, he stole her debit card and spent $8,000. When they got a divorce, they went to court over the money he stole from her personal account, not their joint account. They mandated him to pay it, but as far as she knows, they didn't give him a deadline. Is there anything she can do to make sure that he needs to pay it? Or am is she screwed? This is in Georgia.

ok so i was having this debate with my friend as we are unsure as to whether or not there is a 'cut-off time' for buying alcohol at the shops at night. i mean there must be right as you cant buy it before 8am. does anyone know what it is? thanks

I am for it. If a person is in pain and is suffering and wishes attempted suicide than why not? To end their pain? I would probably want that myself if I was in pain. I think I heard of a case where somebody had their body completely paralyzed and couldn't physically move at all. How sad?

A religious view is that it's "God's choice", I think that's ridiculous, that God would want someone to live on in agony. Or that someone would live on in agony in the name of a God who may not even exist.

this is the 17th amendment, i need to know what it means in plain english:

The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, elected by the people thereof, for six years; and each Senator shall have one vote. The electors in each State shall have the qualifications requisite for electors of the most numerous branch of the State legislatures.

When vacancies happen in the representation of any State in the Senate, the executive authority of such State shall issue writs of election to fill such vacancies: Provided, That the legislature of any State may empower the executive thereof to make temporary appointments until the people fill the vacancies by election as the legislature may direct.

This amendment shall not be so construed as to affect the election or term of any Senator chosen before it becomes valid as part of the Constitution.

As i sit back and watch the debates it seems as though the republicans are licking their chops waiting for the woman or the black man to get the nod. I feel like Gore could landslide the votes but Obama or Clinton are going to have a rough time. Me i personally like Biden but it seems he's the longshot.

Im sick of the same thing over and over the name calling and put downs and his drinking almost every day i got my baby's toy guitar and broke it on him, he hit me on the face once now i'm swollen and have a bruises on face legs and arms from hitting pushing and pulling me this was yesterday i tried to call the police but he took the phone from me, i just want to have a record on him in case it happens again or to use it to get full custody of my unborn baby i'm 2 mos pregnant and he keeps treatening me of taking the baby away from me when its born.

I'm not conservative nor am I religious and prefer the seperation of church and state however I'm not bothered by it. Everyone knows he is Christian and a huge part of his image and the seperation of him from the other canidates is his religion. Should it really be an issue that it is in his ad?

That we need to stop illegal immigration and get rid of those already here by simply aggressively pursuing those who hire them with stiff penalties and jail time.

That we need to have a balanced budget and stop pissing american tax payer money over sees like we do now

That a moral society should strive to curb abortions as much as possible.

That our politicians should strive for policies that help encourage businesses to hire american here at home as opposed to hire communist chinese.

and that health care in this country is in fact very expensive and we need to address this issue somehow by causing more competition in those industries to drive down prices.

I was in a serious truck accident and charged with DUI, however, i wasnt drunk (I dont even drink alcohol), my workers comp rep told me he talked to the officer and said he charged me because he can "always drop it later, but cant add it later if I was drunk" all tests came back clean, etc. The charges are still pending (not dropped yet). This is stressin me to no end, even though I know I wasnt drunk, I cant sleep, I get nasaus, I cant stop thinking about it, my 14 yr old daughter looks at me like Im a criminal, and hypocrit, since i preach to her the seriousness of drinking and driving, even though I explained it to her, etc. I have to go to court again (2nd time), 2 hrs each way and is hell on me due to my injuries. Am i allowed to sue, and how much, the state of NJ for this unjust stress and embarassment they are putting me through?
