He has told police he has sexual urges toward children aged baby to 8, he finds the urges very difficult to contol, he jacks off to mother and baby magazine. He is worried he will 'overstep' and actually act out a fantasy on a child.

He has asked the police to lock him behind bars to keep hime out of childrens way, but they can't because he has not committed a crime yet. He has asked to be locked in a mental institution, but they have decided that he doesn't have a condition that they can use to legally detain him. He could just walk out of the institution and nobody would have the authority to stop him.

So, he lives in a flat somewhere in as street, probably with families next door.

You spent time with your family, went for Sunday walks and just relaxed. Now you can shop till you drop-eat out-and do all those things that damage our environment. Are we really interested in preventing global warming? Isn't it just a big money making myth?

. . . .about ARMs and how they function? i keep hearing in the news how the government is supposed to step in and stop these ARMs from adjusting upward and freeze rates where they are still in their introductory phase, but WHY?

when you sign on to an ARM, you are told how the instrument works. you are given a CLEAR explanation of what it is. i have to say: i think it's irresponsibility on the part of the borrower; not the lender.

i DID start this question with 'can anyone expain to me' and i mean it. i'm NOT a finance expert or someone even in the business world. and before someone starts accusing me of being 'upper class and cold,' i guarantee that 98% of the people reading this question earn more money than i do. I'm a school teacher and musician, so i'm just above the poverty level. but i was very careful when choosing my mortgage and buying my home. is there really much more to this than what i'm seeing? seriously....explain.

I have a loaded 9mm in a case next to my bed, easily accessible in an emergency. If someone comes into my home while my wife and I are sleeping I've practiced what to do, but one thing I'm not sure of is where I should aim. I've heard horror stories of people just wounding an intruder (ex. messed up a leg, paralyzed, etc.) and the criminal came back a couple years later and sued the shooter for all they were worth because they would be disabled the rest of their life. Due to this fact I've heard people say, "always shoot to kill." I just wanted to get more opinions on this before it happens to me, God forbid.

I constantly see these posts relating to Fox News Channel when Fox is the ONLY one that does present BOTH sides of each issue. It's the give and take between commentators that really make for a valid discussion of issues yet this seems to have liberals shaking in their boots. Could it be that a fair discussion of an issue will prove out how weak one side of the argument may be?

Hi there. I have a couple of rumours and stories passed down by by grandfather and I'd like to know if they're true or false; I'm a civilian so for all I know they may be complete bull or just ordinary truths.

My grandfather was a field medic in WW2 and stayed on to fight in Kenya and Korea. He told me that, as a medic at the rank of Lance Corporal, he (and other medics) actually outranked everyone in the field when it came to medical matters. For example he says once that the SNCO was wounded and only him, and the CO of the unit, were able to reach him to give help. The CO was a young Officer fresh out of Sandhurst and didn't really know what do whilst my grandfather set about fixing the SNCOs wound; he sat there shocked at the blood, babbling, so my grandfather held up a pair of forceps and said, 'Shut up and hold this-now,'- no 'Sir', no 'Please', because a man's life was in his hands.

Secondly he tells me many medics carried sidearms in order to put the seriously wounded...

i'm happened to view an analysis about the Dictators who took over the country from the democtric rulers. The senior press analysiser pointedout that no Dictators involved in corruption while they are ruling the country. They never misused govt tresury for their personal use. They never brought their kith and kin or atleast tried to bring to power etc., i remember not the channel but remember his answer to a question. The elected representatives who occupies power posts involved in corruption that we see in dailies..but we cry the dictators to let way for democratic path only and no one pointed out about their corruption, since there is no corruption in their one man rule. for example , the senior man said in pakistan from Ayubkahan to Mushaaraf, they never caught of corruption.. is it correct? Is there any substance in the pressman's view?

Ok well I am against the draft and one of my reasons is that when people return from the war, sometimes they end up acquiring some sort of mental disorders from all the traumas that a war can bring. I am almost certain that there has been cases where the person returning from war has killed or harmed their family because of mental complications. Does anyone know about any cases? Do you have names or maybe a website?
Thanks so much
