Do you STILL think its in the bag??....or has it BEEN bagged?

The one-time frontrunner for the Democratic presidential nomination faced a slue of bad news, and committed a series of what where perceived to have been “blunders” in her campaign. By the end of the week, her campaign had sustained a key resignation, a key defection, and a growing chorus of commentators saying that her campaign was in trouble, and that Mrs. Clinton could end up losing all four early primary races.

The Republicans wouldn't admit there was any such thing as Global Warming. There were just cyclical climate shifts, they said. George Bush and his group wiped out references to it. There was some references to Alternative fuels, but nothing much done. Now, suddenly, at a Global Conference, he changes his mind. It may be too late, the tipping point may have passed, but now he's decided that the scientist may be right after all. One representative said to the U.S...."If you aren't going to lead, get out of the way!" Al Gore joined those willing to halt the effect of Greenhouse Gases on climate.

Now that extreme weather patterns are prevailing, polar bears and seals face extinction, and the glaciers are going..going..gone, do Republican owe Al Gore...the man they have treated with contempt and ridicule...a heartfelt apology? Can they admit they were wrong? Can they finally admit that Gore is right, the earth is warming and nations must work to halt catastrophic change?

After 911, some slick Willies seemed to be pulled to me.
My point is all these government agencies fall under Homeland Security, the INS falls under it now too, leaving the country requires a passport for Canada etc., the passport fees were increased. Mexico border fences being installed. It appears to me US citizens are being fenced in, not so much as keeping terrorists out and their privacy is stolen.
The Fed wants to pentalize employers that work illegals, but I wonder every month, how many SS checks are direct deposited in bank accounts in Mexico for retired Mexican nationals workers that went back and retired there after working here without obtaining citizenship?
If you are a US citizen and need a passport and you owe high arrears child support or back taxes you think you can get a passport? Think again. When will Homeland Security be aboilished, my understanding is no one inserted a stop date? Now that it's on the books all they need to do is slide in amendments!

insist on putting down the brave military men and women so volunteer to fight for our country? They did not make the decision to go to Iraq. Many of you will argue that if they did not want to go they would not have joined, bull. Where do you think our country would be if so many brave men and woman did not volunteer to serve YOUR country? Do you think you would be sitting in you gas guzzling SUV talking on your cell phone eating In and Out bitching about obesity, energy conservation and global warming? I would serious like to know why you blame them, and where you think OUR country would be without them.

I am curious to know if anyone has ever attended the final interview for an immigrant visa into the U.S. (green card) and passed despite not having been able to satisfy all the requirements of the I-864.

Essentially, is there 100% chance that you will fail the final interview if you are unable to meet the I-864 requirements even to a small degree?

hi,
i recently see a e-commerce site that very likely misplace price on their product which list $20 instead of $2000. I placed order because i think it might be on promotion or something but maybe they make mistakes.

Have anyone know any customer rights about this?

or any case like this before? What was the case about and how did it end up?

The US gives a lot of aid to poorer countries every year. In recent years many of these countries have become more arrogant towards the US, undermining its role as a superpower and humiliating it. In the UN and at certain conferences, the status of America has been ignored. Should we halt aid to these countries, even if we have a president that seems to be intentionally screwing things over? America may not be the country it once was, but we shouldn't receive snotty attitudes from countries that we help. If the money doesn't help -one more reason to stop giving it. Not to mention the US debts and deficits...soon we may need aid from others...

I work in construction and had signed a contract 18 months ago which included a substantial bonus on completion of the contract.I had fulfilled all the requirements under the terms of the contract approx 2 months ago and have waited patiently for news of my bonus to be payed out before Christmas which is traditional in Construction.I am shocked to have been informed by the director that 'as things are a bit tight, I can't pay you any thing'. I am seriously angry that having fullfilled my obligations, I will not be receiving any bonus until the last 2 properties are sold. My terms do not relate to the properties being sold or not, only their satisfactory completion. This is a very small developer, but where do i stand regarding this situation.?This contract relates to my previous position within the company which was superceded by a new contract of employment due to promotion in October. How long do my old contract terms remain enforceable?

Say for example, a couple went through divorce proceedings in a foreign jurisdiction, at a time when divorce was illegalised in their own jurisdiction. But then, say the wife/the applicant wanted the relevant court in her State to vary the earlier orders of the foreign jurisdiction. Could the respondent claim that their own State's orders could have not have retrospective effect since their was no relevant legislation at the time?

Even in America in the year 2007 there are abundances of homeless people without food, in the cold, in the heat that have need of medical attention... If you could see to it that these people were taken care of, what is it that you would do to meet their needs? Naming all the major needs and providing all the care and training for them in so much as their immediate needs were met and there long term needs are met. As they say, give a man a fish and he will eat today. Teach a man to fish and he will never go hungry. Therefore, with this in mind, where do we go from here with abundances of homeless people in need to having a place for the homeless, with food, shelter and training for tomorrow. While this is a good medium to start and I look forward to hearing all of your responses, and will take all the action on my end, doing what I can to help, it will be helpful if a consensus is reached that you also become involved by contacting your mayor, state assemblyperson and congressperson

stand for?

I will be honest I am not the biggest Ron Paul fan, I think some of his ideas are a bit radical, plus I am NOT conservative, but I do study politics and history.....Ron Paul definitely stands for everything a "traditional" conservative stands for, even a classical liberal! (Yes there are idealist constitutionalist non-"commy" Liberals!)
Why are so many conservatives against him, almost threatened by him? At a time where Republican leadership is at a decline in this country, why don't conservatives stand behind this man instead of trying to find "Bush's replacement"
Fox News and many conservative news outlets bash Ron Paul contiually....he probably has more liberal supporters, yet to me, he seems like the ideal conservative candidate?

Impeachment hearings are only proper when significant allegations exist that the President or Vice-President, or others civil officers, committed actions - within their official duties - that constitute 'High Crimes and Misdemeanors.' The allegations against Clinton - involving a personal affair - never reached this threshold. The serious charges against Cheney involve alleged crimes that are central to his duties of Vice-President; namely war and peace, the widespread violations of civil liberties, and the security of the United States and our covert agents.
