It is a right wing fantasy with no actual reality.

What they are trying to do is break the power of ANY government to reign in corporations. Then it will not matter what governments do, the rules will be decided by the likes of Microsoft, Haliburton, or MallWart, and enforced by the likes of Blackwater.

All you people who are thumbs downing the people who say it's coming just haven't done your research. There was language written into the failed immigration act from last year covering almost all of it. Thank goodness it failed for other reasons.

And to people who don't see anything wrong with it, take the average of the US dollar, the Canadian dollar, and the Mexican peso and see whether you would like your money to be worth that! Not to mention the average of the wages between the three countries! When people from all three countries will be able to work wherever they want without restriction, which country will they come to? And what do you think will happen to wages when supply overstrips demand?

Land in Texas has been purchased and construction has begun on a North American Union superhighway to go from Guadalajara to Toronto. Some Texas land owners have refused. Congress is trying (with their amnesty proposals and other trial legal maneuvering), but when the people object they put it on a back burner and wait until nobody is looking and then try again. The whole objective is not for a North American Union, but an entire world union, pushed mainly by the U.N. and the E.U., to make the anti-USA U.N. the coordinator of this world government. If they succeed, the currency will be the least of your trouble. Worldwide socialists are pushing for this, because this is also what Russia (USSR) tried to do after WWII. It failed, and so will this, if people get their heads out of their anuses and see what is going on.

It looks like it is on the way. We, Americans, don't want it.

The Amero is supposedly being made in semi-secret.

The North American Union will be bad news for America and Canada, good news for Mexico.

MEXICO WE`LL NEVER BE UNITED WITH GRINGOLANDIA, WE DON`T WANT THAT. SOME DAY LATINOAMERICA(MEXICO TO ARGENTINA) WILL BE UNITED IN ONE GOVERMENT ONLY AND WE`LL BE STRONGER THAN ANY OTHER COUNTRY OR UNION IN THE WHOLE WORLD. TO THOSE THAT SAY THAT MEXICO DOES`T OFFER ANITHING THEY ARE WRONG!!!!!, MEXICO IS THE BEST COUNTRY OF THOSE THAT WERE MENTIONED IN THIS QUESTIONS. THE "AMERO" IS A FANTASY TALE, IT WILL NEVER EXIST.

FYI: AMERICA IS FROM ALASKA TO ARGENTINA, NOT ONLY YOUR STUPID COUNTRY WITH NO OWN NAME.

I don't think this will ever happen, I'm Mexican and I truly think Mexico's place is among Latin-American countries. With Brazil, Mexico is the leader in that region with which we share language, culture and values; I don't think many Mexicans will like the idea.

Don't worry its not as you think. its more to do with making a free trade zone..

Its called the NAFTA..
or North American Free Trade Zone. its supposed to make things easier for manufactures of goods to compete in the world market and to allow job creation and industrial innovation.. but is more likely to see more American and Canadian jobs got south to Mexico where much cheaper labour and medical cost will mean greater profits for the companies that choose to invest .

When I think about the fact that the post civil war American South has never fully reunited with the North, the prospect of losing cultural and political identity though a North American union doesn't scare me at all.

Ive heard of it as well and it is starting to come to pass in the form of trade certainly with the superhighway they are building between us all.

IF we can still maintain our sovereignty, and identity as a sort-of Christian nation, then the alliance would only help us, and hopefully put more Canadian and Mexican troops on the front lines when America goes to war.

In India our scriptures talk of, "VISHWA KUTAMBA" which translates into- "One World One Family".

Euro has proved healthy and so will Amero, these are all steps in the right direction.
