What is the difference between raging and boolyism?Law exists to punish the management in case of ragging but why not in case of boolyism?

My wife works for a large restaurant chain here in Ohio where she is a server. During open hours she is paid a "server" wage under the minimum wage (but not under minimum tip wages). After the restaurant closes should she and other servers be clocking in as regular minimum wage employees since they are cleaning up and no longer serving tables? The management says "No you can't" to them but as a former restaurant manager at a different company this was exactly what we did, strictly because they could no longer receive tips. Looking for some advice...

but i've been warned about statutory rape

i live in Massachusetts- what's the law(s) exactly? i looked it up and got "criminal inducement to get a person under 18 of chaste life to have unlawful sexual intercourse"- what the hell's that mean? is this something i should actually be worried about? more for his sake than mine. i've heard that charges can be pressed for anything sexual, not just intercourse ... fill me in please?

My drug addict girlfriend ( I just found out last week) has threatened to get a restraining order on me if I reveal to her father that she is addicted to crystal meth. Everyone I talked to says I should let her family know. If she was to die, and no one warned them what she was up to, I would feel terrible. Is there a way to explain to law enforcement that I have done nothing to deserve an order against me, I was just trying to get her help? If she does get one, how do I go about having it removed?

Not in the sense of the money being put towards relief efforts though. Do you think that if we just let HIV/AIDS be (globally) that it would hurt the economy?

I'm not saying who you like - or who's policies you like better. But solely on the basis of going head to head against a Republican. I don't think he has the maturity, is tough enough and really knows what he's getting himself into. Whether you like Hillary or not - she is a bulldozer and has the strength to run in the kind of elections that happen nowadays.

This isn't about who you support - its who you think can handle running against another Republican. I think someone like McCain would eat Obama for breakfast.

I came to the US when I was younger as a legal refugee. which means the US allowed me to come here to give me protection from my country. I dont have my residency but I do have my I-94 which is basically the same thing as a greencard. I also have s.s. and everything. Im just not a citizen and if i leave the US then it would take a lot for me to get back in. I got married to a citizen and i want to know do i become a legal citizen or do i still have to get my residency or my citizenship by other means?

They are constantly treating people around the world who criticize America as "the enemy" or as "anti-American".

Don't they understand that the people they REALLY have to worry about are the ones that DON'T criticize America...because they don't believe we can improve?

If you really want America to be able to exercise leadership in the world - and I do, as long as it is peaceful leadership in line with international law - then you have to listen to wise people when they tell you what you are doing wrong.

A new car? Did "we" prevent Iraq's multiple squadrons of stealth bombers from reaching these shores? Or was it his fleet of battleships and nuclear subs? I mean, after a trillion dollars and four years of occupation, we got something out of the deal right?

"Republicans are especially venal: Twisting religion, law and morality to fit their perverted view of the world.

"Unfortunately, I know Republicans all too well: I worked within the GOP for too many years as a Capitol Hill staffer, campaign operative and political consultant.

"For too long, I took my money and looked the other way but I can never escape the shame of being a part of the GOP political system."

By "they", I mean the people in Washington D.C. responsible for governing this country. Explain how the game goes please, from your point of view.

Perhaps this might help, but there are many other examples.

For instance, I met someone who had her wallet stolen and may or may not have been physically hurt. Suppose she had been. And suppose that the suspect was caught. It's certainly possible for the victim to sue the perpetrator, but in practice, what would happen? For example, the man would have no assets, the woman would receive threatening letters, or pleas from him or his family, etc. What really happens?
