Where have you been for the last 200 years? Don't we have gun control - isn't that what the neocons are upset about?

Yes, there is always gun control. Do you want mad people or kids having guns??
Fact of the matter is also that people don't want criminals having guns, how do you stop them? I believe that gun owners need to stand up and be responsible for the fact that the laws allow criminals to get guns easily.
Some ask why the law abiding should be responsible in any way for the actions of others, well either they are subject to some laws, or they see murder and crime all around them, either way, the have to lose a little freedom, is it better to lose freedom from gun weilding criminals, or the government elected by the people???

We currently have gun control in place. One must have a license for concealed weapons permit. A back ground check is performed on those wishing to purchase guns. And in many states there are certain types of guns that are banned.

Now... if you are speaking of a ban on guns... you would want to put that in place if you don't care about the 2 Amendment and ones right to own arms and protect themselves or their family. A ban on guns is a horrible idea. Then I wonder who would be the only ones with them????

One of the reasons our founding fathers put the 2 Amendment into place was so that our government would not gain all the power. So a dictatorship could not rise. You see... those who have and enjoy freedom, will not let that happen.

It's interesting that those areas with the most gun control have the highest crime rates.

Who obeys the laws? Of course, it's the law-abiding citizen.

I'd rather have a fully-armed populace of law-abiding citizens than all gund being banned and not knowing who the bad guys are. Most officers are against gun control of any kind, despite what the press says....

Gun control = all 20 rounds in the 5X ring.

Gun control should be repealed. Gun control leads to the occurrence of mass killings such as those in schools and malls.

We already have gun control to some extent in most states. It needs to be strengthened to make it more difficult for people to misuse guns.
