my friend was arrested tonight for being an accessory of grand theft auto... He's 17 years old and lives in Iowa.... how long will he be gone for? the person who stole the car is also a minor of the age 16... He did not have a drivers license... all i would like to know is how long could he be gone for if tried as a minor or tried as an adult. maximum minimum sentence.

Not good. Look up the statutes for grand larceny auto in Iowa.

I don't see them going after him as an adult for an accessory charge.
