I'm all for it man. I truely am. Just get the people who want to kill us to work with us, and I think it could be a possibilty. I'm all for we'll do our thing you do yours, if you have a problem talk with us, don't fly Boeing 747's into our buildings. But until then, we have to protect our interests.

Nobody thinks it funny--not even Elvis Costello. The problem arises when one comes to the realization that large parts of the world are ruled by people who are not only actively hostile towards others, but that they have no compunctions when it comes to using violence toward their own ends. Who do you want standing between you and them; guys waving flowers or warriors?
In a perfect world, this question would never need to be asked. This isn't that world.

Hey, I thought it was "peace, love and brotherhood"?
I think you should change it to:
"Peace (even if we have to beat people up at peace rallies)
Love (even if it means protecting and parolling child predators)
and Understanding (understanding that America is evil and Bush is a liar)"
It's all about the subheadings.

Nothing. Except the hippies that live in that fantasy world, whom fail to recognize, acknowledge , and deal with true evil (Islamic extremeists for example). Instead of accepting reality, they'd rather pretend the world is one big hippie Utopia where everyone gets along in harmony, and gets stoned.

because it isn't preached by the powers, so as you are chanting "give peace a chance", an enemy citizen, thoroughly indoctrinated by propaganda, kills you to ensure you don't drink his babies blood in some bizarre "world peace" ritual.
