The Iowa caucuses are coming up and it seems to be a toss up. I would like your opinion on who is the worst 1st tier Republican, 1st tier Democrat, second tier Republican, and second tier Democrat. Then your prediction on who will win each primary, among the 1st tier choices. No Ron Paulers please, we all know he isn't going to win.

I was dating a man for about a year and a half now and I always knew he looked at porn, which I was ok with but the other day I was using his computer and looked at his history and saw that he had been looking at kiddie porn!!! I love this man very much but when I found out I broke it off with him, because that is just not something I think is not right. I did not tell him that I knew what he was looking at because I just felt very uncomfortable doing so but I know that the right thing to do is to turn him in to the law about this matter, because I am afraid that if he is not stopped now of what he may do to peoples daughters if he takes this to the next level. I feel really stupid asking this question but I don't know who to turn him in to. Do I go to the local police in his area or is there a special number to call about ts kind of thing. Also does anyone know when I report him do I have to give my name or can I remain anonymous because I'm not comfortable giving my name.

if it was officially a declared war, it would have meant that Congress declared it war. the President only has the power to send and command the troops wherever he wants, he doesnt have the power to offically declare war.

I'm getting a piercing soon, either by myself or someone else. (no lectures, please)
I talked to my mom about getting a piercing, and shes the main reason I'm not getting it done professionally.
Anyway, she said if anyone pierces me she'll file a lawsuit against them/sue them. (I know she's probably crazy enough to do so)

Can she do that? Even if I did it myself?

I know it's my body and my decision and I don't think she can really do anything especially if she doesn't know who did it... But I'm worried incase I do get it done by somebody, I don't want to get them in trouble...

So on the 1st of the year when it goes into effect, will you be able to smoke in your car, or on your front porch or something? I'm not about to get a fine for smoking outside on my front porch.

Also, since they're banning it in bars, and you have to smoke outside, won't the new ban make it illegal to smoke at all?

what do you think about this ban?

Barack Obama's presidential campaign is funded entirely by grassroots supporters like you. Unlike Hillary Clinton, Senator Obama does not accept money from special interest groups and Washington lobbyists. As a result:
Barack Obama owes nothing to the Health Insurance Industry
Barack Obama owes nothing to the Oil Industry
Barack Obama owes nothing to the Weapons Industry
Instead, Senator Obama truly represents the change we can believe in because his only obligation is to the best interests of the American people, made possible by individual supporters like you.

I was watching the news right now and they had mention that illegals from Mexico are now migrating to Canada because they are accepted with 'open' arms. They interviewed this family and asked them 1. Do you pay for rent? 2. Do you pay for education? 3. Do you pay for food? The illegal family in Canada answered NO to all THREE questions. Those questions were followed by "who pays for it?" and they answered 'the Canadian gov't".
Im not a Canadian citizen. I am an American. Keep in mind that family in the interview left the States because they couldn't 'adjust' here and YES they were here illegaly too so they migrated to Canada.
Should I go move to Canada as an illegal to live for free too?
I find it frustrating how they can get away with so much...

Our Pentagon supported our beloved troops in 2007 in this manner.
1. Required that all soldiers discharged early because of battlefield injuries repay their enlistment bonuses.
2. Sent the longest serving National Guard unit home after 729 days of combat in Iraq- one day shy of the 730 day that soldiers needed to qualify for education benifits.
3. Omitted 20K cases of brain trauma from official tally of troops injured in Iraq.
4. Denied medical benefits to 22K veterans suffering from post-traumtic stress by discharging them for having enlisted with pre existing personality disorders.
Shame on us. Shame on the U.S. Government.

Detective Callahan has been investigating Earnest for a string of burglaries in his town. Callahan has so far been unable to develop any probable cause linking Earnest to the break-ins but he has a hunch Earnest is storing some of the stolen property (several guns, televisions, and stereo equipment) in his home. Callahan mentions to a Fish and Wildlife Officer that he believes Earnest is doing some break-ins. The F&W Officer tells Callahan that Earnest is currently under investigation for a number of hunting violations.
Several weeks later the F&W Officer calls Callahan and tells him that he has gotten a search warrant to search Earnest's home for the Wildlife Violations. The evidence the F&W Officer is looking for includes traps, animal hides, tanning gear etc. The F&W Officer asks Callahan if he wants to help serve the warrant. Callahan agrees and goes to Earnest's house with the F&W Officer. While searching the house the Officers find the stolen property from the break-ins.

Does anyone else find it sort of sad how instead of having some sort of debate, people in this section do exactly what politicians do? Attack each other, put convenient labels, and not respond?

I only see the same tired emotional-driven responses here
War
Immigration
Global Warming
Who's sucks more

Do you honestly think either major party is doing a fantastic job? I think all this smearing has lowered the overall standard. Rather than rise up, they put the other down to make themselves look better. Our last two presidents haven't been satisfactory, and the new lineup of candidates doesn't look awesome either

I think people should be more critical of their own parties. Otherwise, the politicians pretty much get away with corruption, back room deals, etc, which both parties already do because their supporters seem blind-sighted to their flaws.

My brother in-law got arrested about 6 months ago for stealing from his job. He was charged with an undesignated class 6 felony. He was put on 18 months probation with 30 days jail defered after the first 6 months. He went to his P.O from june to oct of 07 and completed part of his comunity service and resitution. We just got a letter from his P.O that says he stopped going and he was to turn himself in on Dec 15th or she would make a motion to revoke his probation. My wife talked with him and he says he just got scared that his P.O was going to send him to jail so he stopped seeing her. If he had i guess his deferred jail time would of been taken off. Anyway after we brought this to his attenion he got scared and i'm sure he didn't turn himself in so he has violated his probation. My question is what will happen? A friend has told me that the court will send him a letter for a meeting about his probation violation. Is that true or will his P.O come to my house looking for him? (He was staying with us and used our address for his P.O) I am also wondering what will probably happen to him? He is a good kid (21 yrs old), he is currently enrolled at school. He is just scared of going to jail and we are afraid he might try to run. He has no priors. Is there any chance for this to turn for the better. My wife and I are in the process of getting an lawer to see what they say.
