Absolutely not. This war is an effort to establish a puppet government in the Middle East that can be manipulated by the Bush Administration and provide permanent military bases in the region. While they've achived their goals to some extent, the only way to keep it is to continue to sacrifice American lives and piles of money that we can't afford to continue paying. In the process, we are creating more and more terrorists and have alienated countries that we could otherwise have worked with to track down the people that want to attack our country.

Been against it since invading Iraq came up shortly after 9/11, and Afghan invasion. Believe it was unwise to remove Saddam by force for all the reason George Bush Senior did not remove him. Iran will soon control that area and don't think one more USA military person should die to help one nitwit save face.

First off, please call it the Iraq war, and second, just look up this question and you'll find a million others like it. Or you can turn on the TV and watch the news, I guarantee you people will be talking about it.
Personally, I think we should withdraw now before more people die. It was a mistake and we have to admit that it was a mistake and that it can't be fixed, at least not in the short term. Thousands of Americans, more than were killed on 9/11, have died as a result of the Iraq War and was it really worth it? The US has alienated itself from almost every nation in the world and the terrorists are as strong or stronger than they were before the invasion. Just bring the troops home.

Yes,America did the right thing, but unfortunately,it was poorly organized and wasn't thought out. With duffel bags of cash handed out to civilian contractors,no one bothered to notice the religious differences(Abu Graib),and the troops used as guards in the prison were poorly trained too.

First of all...America didn't do anything. We didn't invade Iraq, The Bush administration started this war and it is completely the blunder of the Bushites.
Do not blame the Iraq tragedy on America. Dubya started this fiasco and if anybody ever earned a stay in Leavenworth Dubya and several of his ilk have surely earned theirs.
Our military is not to blame and the American people are not to blame so long as we do the right thing and punish gross incompetence according to law.
The debacle in Iraq will be called many things but I assure you that..."the right thing" will not be one of them!

Most Iraqis see the Americans as occupiers--not liberators. That people commit terrorist acts--even suicide attacks--to liberate their country from an occupying army should suggest that we are doing something wrong.
The U.S. has lost thousands of dead and wounded, and for what? The war has cost billions--almost a trillion. And for what?
The sooner we withdraw, the better it will be for all involved.

this (probably illegal) war in Iraq will most likely go down as the worst black mark against America in our history
I dread how we will look back at this period of time when the whole truth finally comes out
if we make all the right choices from this point forward, the damage the Bush administration has done will take a generation to correct

The answer is best given by the Iraqis, and they are returning from refugee status in hords, going back to work, and most importantly working together without regard for religious causes to oust al Qaida.

The US should never have gone to Iraq unless it was part of a United Nations force. Saddam Hussein was never a threat to the US and not a part of the war on terror. Iraq was not connected to Bin Laden or Al Quida at all. We should remove our troops now.

Without a doubt, yes.
Whether our reason for going in were right or, wrong (I happen to think it was a stroke of genius, myself), there is no way we could have left that country to fend for itself. Those people have every right to live among peace, liberty, prosperity and democracy, as we do.
God bless them for what they have been through.
