the third option is OTS.. but all other minimums apply... 4 year degree, US citizen, etc.

No, if you have a college degree, you can apply for OTS.

But the Air Force only accepts about 420 OTS candiates each year.

85% to 90% of Air Force officers come from the AF Academy or ROTC.

No. You can get your 4 year degree and then apply for OTS, Officer Training School. OTS is held at Maxwell AFB, Montgomery, Alabama. It's 12 weeks long and will train you to be an officer in the USAF. Best of luck!

No, you can work your way up...

However, going through ROTC and AFA give you an automatic promotion (each) as opposed to years and years of hard work.

Another Option: Be an Eagle Scout!!! No Joke, it's another instant promotion.

I am not sure if that is a title promotion or just a pay raise.

No... Most military forces allow you to become an officer if you apply for it after being enlisted first. Now getting accepted once enlisted is the tricky part.

a college degree and OCS is all you need
first you would go to basic, then you would go to officer candidate school and after that you get commissioned.
